Meaningless Ranking.

Apart from US, no other Navy can operate much farther away from their home.

Can a UK navy win against IN in Indian Ocean or against PLAAN in SCS.
Similarly can Japanese navy win away from Japanese waters.
Similarly can Chinese Navy win war far away from China.

Apart from USN there is NO OTHER global Navy. So this list should have only 1 name USN. All other Navies would be able to win a war only in their spheres of influence.

Meaningless as others have said, as only USN has capability to deploy their navy anywhere and anytime and come out on top.

Rest of the navies are severely restricted with respect to their area of operation and there is no comprehensive check list of parameters to compare them generally.

A better analysis would be compare the navies given any particular scenario involving area of operation and alliance numbers and look at how many assets they can deploy realistically.

Theater: For eg in SCS, IOR, Pacific, Atlantic, Arabian etc.

Alliances: NATO and Japan vs Russia and China etc
