MINGORA: As the military operation against militants in Swat and other conflict zones continued, security forces blew up the headquarter of militant commander Mullah Fazlullah in Imam Dheri.

Meanwhile, the Tehreek-i-Nifaz-e-Shariat-i-Muhammadi Amir of Swat was arrested from Peshawar.

The headquarter of the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Swat commander Fazlullah used to collect funds for carrying out militancy in the area, officials said.

The headquarter also had prisons which were used to decide the fate of those captured by the Taliban, they said.

The headquarter's building was completely destroyed in the attack.

Wonder if Fazlullah was in the building when it blew up !

Can anyone recognize Fazlullah if he was actually arrested ? There are no photos, no neutral people who can recognize him (except a few reporters most of who have been killed). The worry is that even if he is killed, someone else can just continue claiming that he is Fazlullah. Maybe he is already dead or already gave up the fight ?

Good News. All these bastards need to be taken care of.Time for them to burn :flame:.

While its good to hear the imam dheri den has been destroyed, I'd much rather celebrate once Fazlullah and all his other bastard commanders have been hunted down and killed.

There is a bunch of money to be made if someone can recover that body.

Pakistan renews announcement of bounty on Fazlullah's head

Islamabad, June 9 (PTI) Pakistan today renewed the announcement of a bounty of Rs 50 million on the head of Maulana Fazlullah, Taliban commander in the restive Swat valley as troops were reported to be closing in on his hideouts.

The government issued an advertisement in the country's leading newspapers that it would pay Rs 50 million for information that would help authorities capture Fazlullah "dead or alive".

Alongwith Fazlullah, rewards up to 10 million were offered for 20 of his deputies, including his spokesman Muslim Khan.

The bounties on the Taliban leaders came as unconfirmed reports said that Khan was injured and two sons of commander Sirajuddin were killed when a militant hideout in Kabal area was shelled yesterday.

Fazlullah, military officials said, was targeted thrice during the ongoing military offensive in Swat but he managed to escape.

Military officials in Swat were quoted by Dawn News channel as saying that troops had demolished Fazlullah's headquarters at Imamdheri with explosives.

The sprawling headquarters had served as the Taliban's "supreme court and prison. It was also a key base for the collection of funds by the militants. PTI
