The Filāḥa Texts Project - An Introduction to the Cradle of Agriculture (Arab World)

It is impressive indeed especially as much of the US landmass is not exactly ideal for farming and agriculture in general. Same with China.

Especially the Chinese have mastered some interesting technologies to green their deserts.

Maybe some Chinese users here will be able to tell more in this regard?

@Chinese-Dragon @ChineseTiger1986 @sahaliyan @royalharris

Indeed there is much more to be done when it comes to Arab countries. Hopefully once seawater desalination becomes cheaper and more millions of trees become planted, this can improve. Already occurring in KSA with millions of trees being planted this year alone and more to be planted next year. Public campaigns as well. Less wastefulness. We must learn to be better to protect our environment.

Nice project below (some American involved I believe)

China is planning to introduce this technology via the one belt one road project, and soon we will become greener than North America.

Very impressive.

Chinese expertise can be used as a living symbol of a successful method of combatting desertification and such methods and technology can in return be exported abroad. Here we must all work together.

I need to do some reading about this tomorrow although I have been busy studying cryptocurrency and ICO's of late due to investments.

Chinese at the forefront once again of late.

BTW I love farming and would love to own a farm one day.

China is also investing the project like converting the seawater into the freshwater to combat against the desertification. The investment from KSA and other countries in the Middle East is also welcomed.

If I am not wrong KSA and China already work together when it comes to seawater desalination. KSA is at the forefront on this front along with other countries. However it is an expensive method nowadays (although it is improving) even for relatively wealthy countries.

Luckily KSA is located on the Arabian Peninsula (largest peninsula in the world) with sea access on both sides of the KSA (West and East) and although KSA is the 12th largest country in the world (size of Western Europe), China is almost 4 times larger and inland areas of China are much more difficult to reach from the East China Sea, Korea Bay, Yellow Sea and South China Sea than their equivalents in KSA.

Anyway very promising and impressive and a good sign for countries like KSA and numerous others as large areas in KSA have a similar soil, similar participation and somewhat similar climate (arid) as many regions of China.

China's projects and visions for the region and neighborhood (One Belt One Road in particular) is likely to do much more good than US policies and other Westerners combined in the past 100 years. Says it all really.

Good, we Chinese always believe that nothing is impossible to achieve as long as the determination remains stronger than ever.

We must rebuild Asia the largest and most civilization rich continent in the history as a new paradise for the mankind.

I believe that China has proven this to the world for all to see in recent years especially considering where China came from not long ago.

I wholeheartedly agree with this and the One Belt One Road vision and in general closer partnership across borders is what will help ensure such plans and ambitions.

I have always been very vocal about the need for an Arab-Chinese cooperation if not alliance and that this should be a priority. Many Arabs if not most agree with this opinion. Seems that our leaderships do as well my friend.:enjoy:

My mouth is watering, bro.

Glad you're back. You and @The SC are the BEST Arab members on this forum and without your contributions, this place would be lousy for me. Let's end this repetitive banning thing that is very bizarre.

You are being to kind, brother. I get sucked int senseless discussions with serial anti-Arab (thankfully they are few in between but VERY loud) and their trolling. Working on it.

We are both the bearers of the civilization and peace, and the world shall soon see how the landscape of the world is going to be changed by the OBOR project.

@Saif al-Arab your threads are informative

Before I used to read a lot but now I only read topics and some sentences but in don't read the whole things sometimes I do

Not like before I used to read all the details

Give this thread a read brother. At least the first two posts. You won't regret it.

Definitely. With hard work, sacrifice, wise leadership and cooperation this is very much possible.

The ingredients to succeed are there. We just need to put it to use and make the right "dish".

A few of those are not me.

The only reason why I was forced to make a few accounts is due to forgetting the passwords and not having access to those accounts any longer. This is why some of the users only have few posts. Many users on PDF have done so as well including our friend @TheCamelGuy . Moderators know it already. Now I only have access to this one and Sharif. As long as you do not hide your identity and moderators know about it, I see no problem.

As for informative threads, I have created quite a few as you know, but even I do not remember many of them. Period of 6 years after all.
