The Fight against PKK Terrorism

Do you believe in that what you wrote ? I am dissapointed . If I follow that opinion , it would mean TSK provoces casualties on own side. If you would have written MIT provoces some false falg ops., it would be worth for me to think about.

But this would also be far speculative and conspiracy theory. Look MIT warned BAHCELI, if they wanted Türkiye to become a fire carpet they wouldn't do !

Devlet Bahçeli'ye suikast planı !

There has always been people with ill intentions in the military and every other govt instutitions and they have done bad things. This happens when the political leadership is weak. It is like a disease emerging when the human body falls ill.

Luckily we are in a period of time when political leadership has been strong and wouldn't allow ill intentions to prevail, Although there still are negative influence of some domestic players they are minor compared to the past and won't shake the foundation of the govt.

RIP friends.

@Combat-Master Interesting that in Erzurum and Agri , boarder Region to Iran the attacks are intensified. The attack from yesterday night shows many faults at the side of the security Forces. You can not trust the People in that Region , this Station was only protected with some guards . I even don't believe that they had NV Equipment. That big fault is not acceptable. You must create a security belt at least 100 meters around sensible and weak Stations, with concrete elements and stop everybody at a secure distance to the security check Points and as the allied did in Afghanistan, even shoot on possible intruders if there is a suspicious case.

I am realy angry, this attack could be prevented !

If anything, Turkish forces stationed in those areas should have TOP OF THE LINE equipment. WTF does a Turkish soldier stationed near GREECE need better equipment for? Those rats don't even have fuel for their war machines. The South East is more dangerous. Best body armor, best rifles, best MRAPs, nightvision etc etc etc. Only the best of the best (soldiers too) should be stationed there.

Brother in the 80's when Terror did begin in Eruh/Siirt. I spoke with high ranked officers and said them that anti-Terror can't be done with conventional Tools. I told them that we Need Attack helicopters, NVs, Body armour , aiming devices and so on. What did they ? They travelled to Israel and wanted to buy off the shelf boarder control Equipments only. Mr. Özal got These Infos also !!! He tried to fulffill that Needs, in his time we got the first COBRAS.

Sometimes TSK is too much NATO teach book oriented. If you want to fight Terror, you must think like TERRORISTS do. Thats assymetric WARFARE !!

Yes, hit them when they don't expect it. But in the end you need to stop them from moving/training/basing freely. Need a lot of satellites, drones, t129s and fighter jets. Don't let them breathe for 1 minute!

You are right at all. That's a Long lasting war, you need breath and fitness;
if you stop like AKP did in 2003 for political reasons and votes in Southeast you will loose all what you have won in years before !

For you, I am not anti alevit oriented, I have many friends of them who have strong power, intelligence and are God believing.
But I hate manipulateable, stupid People who are Atheits but Claim to be Alevits !

AK Parti govt took the soft approach to dealing with PKK in 2003; and it is partly because we didn't have the means to deal with it like we do now. They had to deal with other gangs as well and not only PKK. It is written in the party election decleration that they will deal with gangs.

If you want to deal with problems involving humans you better also pull while you push. That is while you use force to neutralise their armed aspects you also win peoples heart by giving them what they were denied for many years. They managed to do this for quite a long time. After other gangs have been neutralised by a great entend and better enforcement means (weapons) have been acquired over time; time is ripe to deal with military means again against those who think they can change statusquo in the region because Turkey takes it softly. It would be nice if we had better weapons like armed UAVs once we take up arms but still we are in a lot better situation in dealing with them.

''Turkish Armed Forces dismiss civilian casualty reports in operations against PKK camps located in Northern Iraq

Turkish Armed Forces dismissed civilian casualty reports in operations against PKK camps located in Northern Iraq through a press statement relased on Sunday.

Referring to some media reports that claimed several civilians were killed and injured during an airstrike by Turkish jets in Zargala village in northern Iraq, the military in a statement rejected the allegations and clarified that the airstrikes only targeted members of "separatist terrorist organization," referring to the outlawed PKK.

"The allegations in the press have been reassessed; it has been determined that the hit target was not a village but in fact a sheltering area for terrorists who are members of a separatist terrorist organization," the statement said.

"There was no civilian residential area in and around the impact range of the bombardment," the statement added.
The military also said that targets were struck after "careful and detailed work" on the basis of visual data verified by its "skilled staff".'' Daily Sabah

@FutureMe Please don't write stories from "1001 nights". AKP was allied with F.Gülen Terror Organisation ! As Ecevit was too. That organization has its roots from 1985's in Türkiye. After Parallel State Terror Organizations turned weapons and power against AKP they accused them as foes ! Soft Power , what soft power demonting a Country for votes in Southeast Türkiye ? Keep realistic bro. !

''PKK uses civilians as human shields on terror camps, Ministry of Foreign Affairs says

Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the terrorist organization PKK uses civilians as human shields in its camps.

The Ministry released a statement on Saturday regarding the recent allegations claiming that the recent airstrikes against the PKK's Zergele camp have caused civilian casualties in Northern Iraq.

It was stated that the PKK "unfortunately" uses civilians as a human shield.

"All targets chosen under the scope of the air operations –which are carried out in highest standards- are chosen from areas which are reported to be civilian-free based on intelligence reports" the statement read, and noted that maximum attention is paid to ensure that there are no civilian casualties.

The ministry noted that there were no civilians in the Zergele terrorist camp, where senior PKK administrators are located. '' Daily Sabah

TSK should go around in civilian clothing and unmarked civilian cars and, when they encounter a PKK checkpoint, wipe the floor with them. Fight fire with fire.

This is something Maroon Berets were doing in the 90s, wearing PKK clothing, speaking kurdish.

The PKK

Another group that has used suicide terror attacks in the past is the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK). The PKK has carried out a total of 21 suicide attacks or attempted attacks (15 attacks were actually carried out and 6 were intercepted). Its suicide campaign started on 30 June 1996 and ceased on 5 July 1999 at the decision of its leader Abdullah Ocalan. This terror campaign caused relatively low casualties: 19 were killed and 138 were wounded.[3]

The PKK resorted to suicide terrorism at a time when it was facing heavy military setbacks in Southeast Turkey, which had had an adverse effect on the moral of its members. Since the group’s terrorist activities have declined constantly between 1994-1996 the organization was seeking an effective means to reverse this trend and to boost the moral of its fighters. Suicide missions were therefore chosen as a consolidating tool. They served as a demonstration of the PKK’s capability to operate and to damage their enemies. The attacks demonstrated the supreme willingness to sacrifice everything, including one’s life for the Kurdish national goals. For some time, such attacks were used for retaliatory purposes.

You will never have an open war wit Greece, expect a few "clashes". The real war will come from south east or east. You should prepare your soldiers and equpments and also asymetric strategy. What about your new vests, helmets, boots, rifles...soldier in southeast must be the first one which use them.

So you don't believe that AK Parti agreed to combat the Feto at the 2004 national security meeting. Feto goes back to 1971 not 1985
.
There were more than enough gangs in the country and you would be fool to take them on all at once. They had to wait for their turn to come. Please have more insight before you accuse people (implied) of being unaware. I myself had a first contact with Feto group in 1983.
