My friend, it is true that we find countless horrible examples of collective and individual ignorance resulting in grave consequences.
On the other hand there are a lot of good examples around us as well.
Piety is not something unreal, it is there in every sphere of life which surrounds us and that too mostly quite against what passes to be logic in a simply materialistic mind.
Humans have an intrinsic capacity for kindness and humane action, and this can be found the whole world over.
Organised religion does not hold the monopoly on that becoming manifest any more than it has a monopoly on breathing. That is something to give thanks for, it is underlies the common man in all of us.
While it's true for great swathes of this planet that the practice of religion always was to them and always will be the end all and be all of everything, in actual fact for the absolute majority of mankind alive today and since the dawn of our evolution a couple of million years ago, religion in any shape of form forms only a tiny part of their entire life experience (if any at all).
And yet kindness, civility and social normality in the species still exists.
Back to the face of this "Islam", I tend to agree with MQM and their consultations at the Ulema of all schools of thoughts, the face of their "Islam" is spread by terror, violence, intimidation, horror and guns.
That is not the milk of human kindness, and it's as pure bastardisation of true Dark Age Mentality forced upon a populace as has been recorded over thousands of years.
