162 Delivered (20 were test planes)
of the 142:
81 F35A
43 F35B
18 F35C
162 F-35s have been delivered to the Department of Defense as of Oct. 20

However, if you look up the allocation per LRIP by Type and Country, you actually see 209 planes (125 F35A, 58 F35B, 26 F35C). Of these, 179 are for US Forces (AIr force 103 F35A, USMC 50 F35B, Navy 26 F35C). The remaining 30 (22 F35A, 8 F-35B) are for other countries, specifically the Netherlands (2x A), the UK (8x B), Italy (8x A), Australia (2x A), Norway (4x A), Japan (4x A) and Israel (2x A).

What's in store? Some 201 more... (LRIP lot 9 and 10 would bring the total to 410)

Funding
• Full funding approved for LRIP lot 1 (2 aircraft)
• Full funding approved for LRIP lot 2 (12 aircraft)
• Full funding approved for LRIP lot 3 (17 aircraft)
• Full funding approved for LRIP lot 4 (32 aircraft)
• Full funding approved for LRIP lot 5 (32 aircraft)
• Full funding approved for LRIP lots 6 (36 aircraft)
• Full funding approved for LRIP lots 7 (35 aircraft)
• Full funding approved for LRIP lot 8 (43 aircraft)
• Long-lead funding LRIP lot 9 (57 aircraft)
• Long-lead funding LRIP lot 10 (94 aircraft)

To infinity, and beyond ;-)

Question is: will that affect the number currently funded? (as opposed to the total envisioned production, relative to which 65 is a small bump)

@mil-avia: you were asked nicely several times to stop derailing this thread.
