I have eaten at the Khyber restaurant of Islamabad on a couple of occasions. I am a great fan of Afghan food. I like it primarily because they tend to use fewer spices (garam masala) and thus one can enjoy the flavour of the lamb & game meat which is often subdued by the overwhelming amount of spices used in Lahori and Karachi dishes. I sincerely hope that visitors to Islamabad & its residents continue to patronise Afghan food.

IMO eating tasty food is one of the pleasures of living.

Loved the food their, I hope Kabul Res. in F7 stays. Wanted to try the one in Peshawar but it seems resentment against Afgan is higher in Peshawar. My Pushtoon host in Peshawar was irritated when i wanted to go their.
