And it's ridiculous to omit any of the other P5 members like Britain and France.

These are countries with highly developed expeditionary capabilities, and blue water navies, which China doesn't even have yet. They are projecting military power in the Middle East as we speak (bombing in Syria and Iraq and Afghanistan), whereas China is only selling armed drones to the Middle Eastern governments.

Let's not kid ourselves, the developed countries are far ahead when it comes to power projection.

You should check out China's rankings of Comprehensive National Power. China is ranked like 6th or 7th on our own list.

Countries like Britain, France, Russia, they have been projecting power across the world for many decades now.

China on the other hand doesn't even have a blue water navy yet. We don't have much capability to bring military power to the other side of the world.

Not to mention that we are still a developing country. Whereas Britain/France/Russia have been building up their capabilities for the last century. And projecting military power all across the planet during that time, whereas China's military power projection is a very local affair. The Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Sino-Indian War, etc. all of these happened right on our own borders.

On the day that China can conduct a concerted military campaign halfway across the world, that may change.

It's a constant tug-of war, America likes to paint China as being more powerful than we really are (hence their obsession with China being the #1 economy by GDP PPP), so that we will be forced to take the burden of greater international responsibility.

And China wants us to appear weaker than we are, so that we have more time to develop in peace. For example, China's National Bureau of Statistics has officially rejected any use of GDP PPP in ranking national economies.

Now, a report from the Financial Times suggests China’s unease goes much deeper. FT, citing people who worked on the World Bank report, says that China actively tried to convince them not to use the data. “China wanted to throw this out,” a source told FT. “They begged and threatened for a whole year … China hates it.”

As is usual with this kind of international politics, "the truth lies somewhere in the middle".

And the fact really is that China is still a developing country, people get distracted by the glitter and shine of tier 1 cities like Shanghai and Beijing, but the real China lives in the rural countryside.

However, Israeli soldiers are much stronger than the Iranian ones, equipped with better weapons and protected by better systems.

Agree, it's purely subjective, results depend on what relative weights are given to various selected parameters. Among numerous such rankings, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) has also been compiling a putative measure on it's own - Comprehensive National Power (CNP) - latest data was published in "Global Political & Security Report (2015)":

Areas covered by CNP includes Natural resources, Economic activities capability, Foreign economic activities capability, Scientific and technological capability, Social development level, Military capability, Government regulation and control capability, Foreign affairs capability. It's a CASS effort to create quantitative support to Beijing on making geopolitical power calculation, which in the past was largely qualitative only. We don't need their permission, all we need is to stop them from demanding not to.

Do you actually believe you have hundreds of missiles that can even reach us? Almost all of your nuclear warheads are armed on the Nasr missile, your barley have any long range missiles that can reach us and that gives us an edge. Our Arrow 3 missile has about the range of your ballistic missiles, 2400 kilometers.
We have many layers of defense, the chance of your missile penetrating those defenses is next to 0.
