You don't seems to complain of what Turkish Invaders did in Anatolia for over centuries, make this place as Turkish permanent occupation, brough these people into submission and total assimilation, of course when these Invaders destroyed and burn all Anatolia history books to make you believe as descendant of turk, the remaining is nothing but lies about your Anatolian's culture, history and Identify...try to look at your own shamefull mirror before discuss other's issue.

I only read more and more excuses from Chinese fascist to justify their crimes in the year 2014. This is not the year 900 BC. It is the 21th century. Unfortunately China, and I'm saying China as a government here, still live in Ancient times where they think they can get away with crimes they would if they did in ancient times. The fall of China's economy is imminent but if this country got stronger. I wouldn't be surprised if it acted barbaric like it was Ancient times. China acts passive because it has to. Their economy demand on exports so they have to play by the rules but we can already see it is getting more aggresive to our allies like Japan and others. With China's economy going south I predict China getting more aggressive to destract the attention to domestic problems. US already warned China they should mess around but I think it won't be necessary since the sh1t is going to disintegrate soon. I disagree. Strong China wouldn't be good. It would create a lot of conflicts in East-Asia. That is why nobody in the region and outside the region will allow a strong China. Your weakness is that your economy is going to implode and more important you have no allies.

Turkhic people living in central Asia had no written history because they were nomads. But you guys weren't. Chinese historians had written about some central Asian people describing something close to Turkish belief systems like Tengriism.

You guys named them Xiongnu. Turkish written history -which is written by Turks- started 6th-7th centuries you are right.

Whether Turkic tribes are related or unrelated to Xiongnu is an academic question. There had been three groups of people originated from Mogolian plateau and rocked the world in the history. First Xiongnu (300BC - 400AD), then Turkic (600AD - 900AD) and Mogols (12th century). All these people speak sort of altai language but it's not Chinese problem to sort out if these three are originally of the same face or ethnicity.

At present we could use genetic methods to trace ethnicity. First we know Mogols have nothing in connection with Turkic people, and second Uyghurs have a mixed gene pool of Central Asians and East Asians. Uyghurs are perhaps culturally connected to Pan-turkish but not genetically. We don't have any genetic evidence of Xiongnu people. After all they went to Europe and disappeared or mixed with Europeans.

Chinese fought with Xiongnu for hundreds of years and it's why China started to build the "great walls". In Chinese history, Xiongnu tribes were decisively defeated by Han dynasty and they decided to ride to the West. Turks were also defeated and greatly weakened by Tang dynasty in the 7th-8th century. In the 10th century Turkic tribes (Eastern tribe and Western tribes) had internal wars and after the war the Götturk tribes migrated westwards.
