Turkey never trusted the assad regime and assad was also playing a double game by supporting pkk...
So when the chance came turkey returned the favour and batcked fsa

and even if assad wins in this conflict he will have a distroyed country and he wont be a threat to turkey for a long time

the chances of assad winning is 50/50
