The dangers of Bangladesh are bigger than thought

Do you want BD to get into a quagmire in our own neighbourhood, war will last for decades funded by enemies on both sides. Look at Pakistan still paying for the Afghan war.

Why does the Muslim world need BD soldiers to go to war? If the world is so outraged they should send their aircraft carriers to the Bay of Bengal .

We are doing more than any country on this earth for the Rohingya and we will keep doing it, but going to war is a fool's errand.

It is Awami-League government that does not want to confront Myanmar.

BD military is currently stronger than Myanmar on both land and sea.
Myanmar has the upper hand in air but can only really stop BD aircraft from bombing
Myanmar and that is about it. It has neither the numbers of aircraft or the technlogy
to be able to launch an effective bombing campaign against BD.

BD should invade and capture at least the northen-half of Arakhan and then that can be
Rohingya safe haven under BD protection.

Cool, more self-appraisal.

Just pointing something out that doesn't quite support your self-appraisal. But don't let that get in the way.

I was saying its 100% ethnic driven? The "other factors" manifest by and correlate to ethnicity quite strongly...though of course correlation is not causation. No need to deny it....its just an observance. Can look at the income and poverty stats for the BD people in UK and anywhere else they have migrated to in any significant number. There is a common thread. This subforum amply illustrates it too. So its funny when the Pavlovian ad-hominem comes out with little effort....and then the whatever waaah waaaah card of choice based on this inferiority complex follows soon enough....just because BD gets beaten up all the time, we should indulge and treat the BD sob stories as 100% truth. Thanks but no thanks.

As a big mouth self-appraiser, I wouldn't expect anything different. People that actually have discussed deep technical matters with me on this forum know where and who I work for and the likely commensurate earning range from that. So tell me why I should exactly care about what some pretty riffraff BD with not one but two US flags thinks and claims on the matter? What, you literally want me to post pictures of my house, cars, workplace and such? Will it end there? I think not, so I don't care.

Just the usual non substantive partially re hashed BS in your last post.

You didn't really say anything pal, not to mention fail to refute my points.

Oh, and save the pictures. My original assertion stands.

What war lasting decades?
BD actually has a professional military unlike the rag-tag Myanmar one. BD army thinks so little of Myanmar one that it used just 2500 soldiers to attack 2 Myanmar divisions in 2000 that resulted in a complete capitulation from the enemy.

You think that the cost of all those Rohingya that BD has to shelter will not cost many billions of US dollars anyway?
A short-sharp war to capture Arakan would be cheaper. Have you even thought about how much benefit BD would get from having a friendly Arakan next door, who could supply BD with massive quatities of food and cheap hydroelectric power.

Not possible both militarily and politically.

.
Some people here are saying to send them back to Myanmar, where the hell do they go back to? their villages are burnt down and the military and militias would just be waiting to kill and butcher them when they return

Somewhere I read an offhand comment that long range artilleries posted on the CHT could pummel Chittagong port, like how The polish forces pummelled the Turks from the Kahlenberg mountain during the 1683 Siege of Vienna....So CHT going to East Pakistan was more of a military decision..what language do the Buddhist of CHT speak? are there any Bengali Buddhists in Bangladesh?

No offense - but boy do you have a lot of reading to do - better get busy.

1. What worked in 1683 will not work today.
2. We will not sit and suck on our thumbs while CTG port gets hit by missiles or artillery shells. There are air and artillery defensive installations around CTG port just like any other of our critical national assets.
3. There are plenty of Bengali-speaking Buddhists, in fact most educated Pahari folks in Bangladesh speak Bengali.
4. Unlike India, we don't call our Pahari brothers/sisters derogatory names like 'Chinkis', so no Chanakya Bharti tricks will work. They have equal rights in Bangladesh and we actively work to preserve this status quo. Tribal/Pahari festivals like 'Baisabi' are actively celebrated by all Bangladeshi groups.

Bhai that change of an independent Arakan buffer has to happen politically if it does, making it happen militarily may have a high price for both countries. We have to also gauge if now is the right time and we should be the direct actor in any aggression. Let the Rakhine work through with a Guerrilla War of attrition, which we can support covertly.

I don't think Myanmar Junta will be too unhappy with a buffer state. They know that this business of ethnic cleansing they are supporting has no positive outcome. They should tamp down Burmese nationalist elements, smooth the ruffled feathers of ARSA/insurgents and seek a political solution to stabilize Arakan, for their best interest. The geographic position of Arakan is best as an independent trade zone between both countries which provides both stability and prosperity.

This empty vessel is a supposed technical 'expert' (a petty employee someplace) and he thinks he's some big shot. Riffraff huh?

Listen - bud, even small-time businessmen in Bangladesh make more than you ever will. They eat more, spit farther, fornicate longer, and even have more mistresses tucked away than your a$$ can ever fathom.

Aa Gaya Big Spender Naukri-wala.

And we're not even talking about Naukri of US standard, we're talking about down-in-the-dumps Canada, where good technical jobs (if you can find them even) don't even garner 60% of the salary (in an equivalent position) one can make in the US.

LOL....triggered! Now enjoy making barely over poverty 40k or whatever your BDs in US make lol....and witnessing not even 1 BD member here in this forum actually being from defence/engineering background or anything which actually can be proven in a forum....and thus resort to exactly what you doing here (BBS wa wa whooom when its not usual waaah waaah waaaah like we seeing in Rohingya threads) lol. Shoo before the reality makes you cry even more.

You lost your last desperate clinging after all:

In fact India ranks below Bangladesh in Human Capital Index and will continue to do so

Suck it up (just like you did when your butthurt bile-ridden post here got deleted):

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/human-capital-report-2017-bd-did-great.517722/

Eternal failing POS trash like your country  ....oh boy seeing your lot get torn apart in next election is gonna be so :enjoy:.

Original self-appraising stand :D Typical of the country that produced BBS. Too bad it means nothing for 3rd party.

You think it's as easy as that ? That we will go in and defeat Burma and the Rohingya will just go back to life as usual? This mess will last decades because the locals don't want Rohingya there and if they go back it will happen again. That won't change without diplomacy.

OTH one bomb lands in BD and we can kiss our fdi goodbye.

Ps. We took 500000 Rohingya in last time and they're all still here. These 350000 are going nowhere either, so the £billions are already on us.

What planet do you reside in?
Diplomacy will not work with the animals next door.

There are two options for BD.

1. Host the Rohingya and spend many billions of US dollars.
2. Capture Arakan and allow the Rohingya to go back. 2 million
Rohingya will outnumber 1 million Rakhines.

PS - What FDI? BD has barely more than 1 billion US dollars a year. Most of the investments are done by locals anyway.

Firstly, my posts speak for themselves.

Secondly, it's a pretty sad reflection of your life if your source of self validation is the positive ratings you get on PDF.

In terms of earnings, its multifactorial and less to do with ethnicity and more to do with opportunity, work ethic, family support and circumstances and just plain luck.

Anecdotally, and admittedly very crude of me to say, but I'm fairly certain I make far more than your Tamil derrière.

I've been taking French classes recently and see what you did there. Très lisse moi ami!

The argument I'm trying to make is that Bangladesh has no friends.

Not India, not China, not any other nation.

The only potential bonds we have with anyone are that we are Muslim. For this, at least Turkey was willing to help somewhat. Perhaps some other countries as well such as Iran. But of course, this aid is of limited nature.

In this current crisis, Bangladesh is screwed. Both India and China are essentially backing Myanmar for their own reasons.

What can Bangladesh do?
What can Bangladesh do?:hitwall:
or
What can Bangladesh do?:cray:
or
What can Bangladesh do:sleep:

India would remain neutral in a Bangladesh-Myanmar war as long as the war does not involve China or the West.
India would remain neutral:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Mon* ami... putain d'imbecile.

D'imbècile* .. good job on the google translate tho.

Now mate, ever you ever seen me be toxic to you? Care to find any recent posts where I've engaged with you either? Tho you've tried hard by quoting me and all earlier. I'm probably the last person remaining in this section who is yet to be abusive to you in anyway. Let's keep it that way, shall we?

So easy I guess? Burmese military will sit back and let that happen. China too would do nothing although they have a lot of interests in Arakan. After we capture Arakan we will move on to capture Assam, West Bengal thenthe whole North East. And after that Bangladesh will be a super power.

I know you are a coward.

No one asking you to fight here.
