we dont buy we make our own weapons not like india procuement of mmrca buying and stuff

Because we can. With all the sanctions that China has and the poor economy that Pakistan has you cant afford so you don't have any choice. If Pakistan is offered Rafale with soft loans and affordable price I am sure they would dump J 10 and go on to procure the Rafale. And we are not only buying it...but the companies have t provide us ToT and invest back 50% of the money given to them in India.

By this our quest for knowledge has been satisfied and more job opportunities are provided.

We get to actually see and use the most advanced weaponry and incorporate it into our own defence industry.

Every Indian always admits that the 1962 was the most humiliating defeat(and only defeat)suffered by us,no one denies. How can a single infantry division mach 2 entire corps size enemy with better training, arms and experience??So what was the point behind this thread.
@CD,don't you get bored by posting the same link thousands of times!!I know, you are a boring persion.

.
A very netual view of india's brutal defeat of 1962.

How it got started and how it ended.

Part 1

Part 2

Pay close attention to 4:42. Indian POW are well treated!

India brutal defeat ??It is called as Border skirmish ,hope you understand the words here.No airforce or navy involved ,just some light infantry battalion against huge armed CCP armies with favourable terrain at their side.

Chola incident - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Same huge CCP army just 5 years back ran for their life like never before. Then what happend to youre so called glorified army been f**cked by VNAMes in equal term ???
The realty is Chinese army is just too sacred to get in equal terms.Try one more time you will get from centre, left and right in your a**.

So long you do not say it in front of a Japanese. You never know what they might do to you

Recently China intension was not to broadcast its J-7 aircraft crash news(But With god grace its been captured in an International airshow)else you guys simply denied it  ,forget about the real scenario at war front of Chinese army.Even i doubt that In vietnam and also in Sino-Indo clash,Your leaders covered most of the reality unlike India where leaders have to answer to their people queries.

Huh? Except for some small arms and ammo what else do you make? Even the JF-17 thunder is 95% Chinese! Your R&D is almost non existent and you guys depend on China right from the drawing board stage.

Let's know what weapon systems (except small arms) have you guys invented, from idea/concept to drawing board to prototype to testing to manufacture? Zilch! :pop:

.
Who is this guy? " A**** Eng***
He starts a thread-
He himself replies to them.....
He claims them to be hot because some sane reply from his friends.....
He even claims India and China are going to war and All Indians agree with him....

A bit of context. @ time 4:39, the man kneeling and smiling for the cameras is Brigadier John Dalvi (John Dalvi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). He was the commander of the 7th brigade who was positioned in the extreme of the Indian flank. The collapse of his brigade was what started the dominos falling. He later wrote a book called "The Himalayan Blunder: The curtain raiser to the Sino-Indian War of 1962"

I actually took the book out of my university library (it's a hard to find book) and scanned a few maps from it.

Here is a good campaign map taken from Brigadier General Dalvi's book Himalaya Blunders

More maps of the North west sector (7th Brigade) of the NEFA.

Me and Joe Shearer had a long discussion about the tactics used in that battle.

My university library. It's one of the largest in North America. These particular books about the 1962 were hard to track down but several were donated by an Indian defence college library to my University.
