EU should not have allowed the Eastern Europeans to join en masse and so soon after the fall of communism. They flooded Western European countries and that has messed up image of EU more than anything else.

Ironically, its these countries like Poland and Hungary who are the biggest beneficiaries and yet populist anti-EU.

Really?

It is Boris versus Parliament now.
Leave voters are split between no deal and some kind of deal.
Brexit may never happen as the country is not decisive in leaving under a specific circumstance.
Doesn't matter. The legal position is that the UK by default default will leave without a deal on October 31st.

Even if Parliament forces Boris to ask for an extension, EU must grant it by unanimity. If they don't, legal default kicks in.

Everyone accepts that Brexit in some form must happen now, so it will happen. They can't delay it any longer.

Dude, everyone does not agree that Brexit must happen.
Libs Dems are a prime example.
Others want a referendum in which the public will have the option to remain.
Please do not mislead friends from overseas on opinion in the UK.

Only Lib Dems want to reverse the result of the referendum. How many seats in Parliament out of 650 do they have? 11?

Irrelevant, we're talking about the UK leaving the EU, not about the terms on which that departure might be.

Dude, I do not think you are thinking deep enough here.
Without a deal acceptable to the majority, UK will stay in EU.
More chance of staying in EU than leaving I say.
