In the coming years china should spend on navy instead of land forces, to expand it's influence beyond china sea to the pacific world. Age of prolonged conventional ground war is over. Influence over the oceans will decide balance of power in the coming decades.

Our American swords always sharp and clean and that is one area I admire about them. However, we are not ready to commit that step .... yet. In 2020s or 2030s at the latest is when you see us being more proactive in waging wars. Right now, enjoy the peace.
