What's new

the case of Col Rtd Zahir Habib

.
Pakistan should start abducting indians from Afghanistan, iran and ME. If indians want to play this game, we are ready for it.

.
Keeping security of info in view, i can only tell that he was abducted ofcourse, but the way it was done and the precedent it has now set, both have put Indian agencies in a fix. Warnings from our side have already gone out, when this incident happened, that if they want to adopt this way, then all their officers abroad (on courses, in embassies, and other covert/overt assignments) will be picked off as well.

Indians cowered down and are now willing to return the Colonel (without Kalbushan in exchange). But now they cant find a proper and respectful way to return him....

sounds like honey tapping since its so effective against them

. . . .
Unfortunate and sad.
very unfortunate
a retired officer looking for a second employment gets excited by an apparently attractive foreign job offer. sees no evil or danger in it and is open about it and meets a very sad end.
I think he might have been unfortunately already tortured and killed after a "confession" video.
or in the middle of life and death,. may Allah have Mercy on his soul and his family.
they fell victim to this vicious animosity of Indians.

.
Execute kulbushan. That is all.
never

if we hang him then we do Indians a great favor. he will become a martyr and Indians will claim his innocence
instead he must be protected and looked after and shown to the world time and again to expose and embarrass the Indians who have been building a narrative over decades that terrorism is Pakistani state policy.

.
He made mistake and we can't pay for his foolishness.....He probably in Indian custody and may India demand Kulbhushan back in exchange....You want that?
Pretty much sums up our attitude towards our citizens. Any foreign spook agency can pick up our citizen and we will conveniently blame it on the person's foolishness. And this was no ordinary guy but a former serving military officer.

India has on the other hand left no stone unturned to secure the release of their RAW terrorist. I am pretty sure Yadav made a mistake too. That's why he got caught in the first place

If they want a safe way out, hold an exchange in a country like Bangladesh or something and quietly bring the colonel home and make a cover story a ransom was paid to an alleged human trafficking group. Why keep the colonel their that long it makes no sense at all.

What angers me is that in 4 years both sides couldn’t come up a simple exchange.

That again shows our defeatist mindset. Hanging him will send a strong message across the border that any privileged RAW agent caught within our borders will end up on the gallows. Killing less privileged Indians and Nepalis on the LOC isn't actually hurting the Indian military

He was army officer especially when he served in intelligence at the post of colonel he must calculate his moves but no he act like a bunny for carrot.....why he did't arrange interview / meeting in Dubai instead of Dubai? Why he did't understand he been misguided? Why he did't not check company's background? Why he don't know that Nepal is under India and they can do "Indian" whatever in Nepal freely? why the hell he went near the border when he ............served in intelligence?

He proved an idiot and especially person like him deserves no sympathy....he was paid well by us even got pension. trained.....if it was Nawas or Zardari etc....I can understand ... but he was a senior military officer....

But having said that....we are doing our best to bring him back....

Once he came back he must go for debriefing and he should explain for his foolish moves and I suggest he should be reinstated and court marshaled.

Regards,

@PanzerKiel @Rashid Mahmood @Irfan Baloch

The lure of money can cloud the judgement of best of minds. So he made a mistake. Don't we all? Why should we let RAW get away with it?

Strongly disagree. No Pakistani deserves to be captured by Indian intelligence on neutral soil and rot in Indian jails. If India can take Pakistan to the International Court of Justice for their 'business man with a false passport', why can't we?

Once he came back he must go for debriefing and he should explain for his foolish moves and I suggest he should be reinstated and court marshaled.
We can do whatever we want with when he gets back but the question is why have we failed to get him back yet? Why haven't we even a launched a diplomatic offensive for him?

But having said that....we are doing our best to bring him back....
Pakistan has been pretty hush-hush about this whole affair. Why do we need to give India a face-saving in the first place for this kidnapping?

Have confidence and dont shortsell yourself. its not a social media ranting match where there is a risk of appearing weak in front of flame baiting trolls.

you fail to comprehend why hanging Jadev is actually helping Indians.

they are praying that he is either killed or dies suddenly by accident or natural causes so that they can start the propaganda mill that Pakistan state exports terrorism.

as for strong message.
he has been already condemned to death. unlike last PM, Imran has brought up his name and misdeeds on international forums.
his capture and custody under Pakistan has put a spanner in the painstaking work by Indian diplomacy over decades where they built and sold a narrative to world that Pakistan state terrorism is a national policy.
they have been reduced to Bollywood movies like Uri now.

he can be produced to red cross, neutral country officials or even international court for cross examination killing off Indian insistence that he is an innocent retired naval officer doing business in Iran.

he will be hanged once he is of no further use against India.

this post is not meant to coarse you into thinking differently.

I wont dare such a thing.
I understand from your posts that you are a singleminded youngster who doesnt believe in taking prisoners from the comfort of your home.

At one point you are dismissing my posts as mere social media rants and on the other hand you dread the damage Indian propaganda machines could do to our narrative, of which India social media cells are a significant part. India badmouthing us at international forums isn't anything new. They have been doing that since ages

he can be produced to red cross, neutral country officials or even international court
We already did decide to fight his case at the ICJ (which we shouldn't have), given how they (ICJ) dismissied our case regarding the Atlantique incident
