Since the big wind industry must build millions of wind turbines per year in order to break even, they pluck out wind turbines and make government buy new ones, and each wind turbine needs steel made from 100 tons of coal. We can safely say the big wind industry will become a top emitter of CO2 in this profit driven society.

Instead of reflecting sunlight back to space as would have been the case, solar panels suck up sunlight, convert to heat, and cause global warming. Solar panels cause global warming.

And I'd guess bare exposed ground/water/trees and dickheads does a good job reflecting sun's energy back into space?

Solar panels are dark colored and suck up sunlight and convert into heat. Ground is not very effective at converting sunlight into heat.

This is a profit driven society. Any thing, any one, that cannot generate profit, is frowned upon and deemed useless and a drag. Profit is a number in a computer. Why you think they got rid of the gold standard which limited money supply since gold is limited?

let's say it takes 100 tonnes of coal to make a wind turbine

but how long does it take for a wind turbine to produce 100 tonnes worth of coal in electricity?? once you cross that 100 tonnes of coal mark you are netting 0 Co2

same can go for hydropower

take for instance the three gorges dam

-27.2 million cubic meters of concrete
-463,000 tonnes of steel
-moved about 102.6 million cubic metres of Earth

a lot of energy and Co2 went into building this dam, but in the end it'll reduce the amount of Co2 and other pollutants over it's long life.

you gotta take the bad with the good

Big wind industry plucks out wind turbines and sell new ones. This is a profit driven society. Profit is everything. Everything else is nothing.

how old is old. maybe replacing old turbines is cheaper than maintaining them :o:

if this is true then new growth would be little to non existent

They make Obama pay them 40 billion dollars of taxpayer money to keep building wind turbines for profit. Big coal and big steel are cahoots with big wind.
