The beauty at home: Neelum Valley a haven for nature lovers

Wow subhan ALLAH thats breathtaking. I had actually written above that north ajk is breathtaking. I know from poonch upwards its all beautiful mountains,valleys and even in some lower regions too,
Basically from what i know or my knowledge goes ,the region we have now, i.e ajk ,some part is from the jammu region and some from kashmir valley , as we know we captured these parts from india thanks to Allah. The upper portion poonch ,muzzafarabad upwards were part of kashmir valley.

But] @engineer saad says that current ajk was a complete state called poonch whose most part was freed from indians back then in 48 but rajouri etc and onwards were left behind. So idnt know lolzz who of us 2 is right.

Bahi do u know chamba sector was captured by our forces in 65 ,and they didnt return it back.

Oh as of lala ,lolzz no it wasnt age related, i thought its like we call anyone , hey bro, so ithought its similar expression. Oh no worries iwill call u pravah and bro. Ididnt know lala is for that purpose.

And honestly iused to think iok is more beautiful

During the 1947-48 war between India and Pakistan, Poonch city was under attack of the rebel Poonchies, Pakistani tribals and Pakistan army for about one year. It was in the month of November 1948 that Poonch city was re-united with Indian-administered Kashmir.

Driving? Around five hours. It's all mountainside scenery, hence the long winding roads take a while to travel on.

AND are actually a fun in itself.

Actually, driving to these areas is half the fun of going there. The drive, the scenery is simply marvelous.

Yea try going up kotli too.

And if you get there, do take some time to visit "taata paani" too. Simply LOVE THAT PLACE.

Everywhere in AJK is beautiful sis, but of course the further North you go the more spectacular it gets. The upmost Northern parts are close to the valley, but didn't come under the name. Consider them a set of valleys leading up to the valley of Kashmir. Ironically, when you type up Kashmir Valley into Google, the actual images that come up are of our AJK Neelum Valley, which many folks have mistaken for the Kashmir valley, which it isn't. The high elevations are a dead giveaway and of course it is more beautiful.
Yes penha, I know all about the 48 war onwards. My entire elder generations fought those wars.
