Another unknown in the conflict to date is the status of Algeria , and in particular its air arm , the most powerful in the region.For some months now , the AAF has forward-deployed Su-30MKA strike fighters, Beech 1900D and other aircrafts closer to the border with Mali.Furthermore , some sources suggest that reported US drone strikes in northern Mali in June 2012 were in fact attacks by the AAF

Similar actions are expected in the problematic borders with Libya. With Tunisia, the Algerian and Tunisian army coordinated their effort in several occasions in the area where the Algerian/Tunisian/Libyan borders converge, to neutralize terroriste convoys.

A surprise missile strike in Mali's breakaway province of Azawad killed seven al-Qaeda terrorists last week.

"The Yahya Abou al-Hammam brigade came under an air attack about 200km north of Timbuktu near Taoudenni," journalist Mohamed Ag Ahmedu told Magharebia.

He added that the raid targeted a convoy of four vehicles belonging to the brigade linked to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). The injured militants sustained "serious" wounds and were receiving treatment at a hospital in Timbuktu, the journalist said.

"The planes that carried out the attack on the terrorists have something to do with the plane that was seen in Timbuktu sky last Thursday," a Touareg soldier who served in the Malian army told Magharebia on condition of anonymity.

"I can't say how many people were killed and wounded, and no one can confirm this information," he added. "This is because the attack took place in a remote area of Timbuktu in the depth of desert. However, according to what the Bedouins told me, many people were actually killed or wounded."

حذر التقرير الصادر حديثا عن معهد واشنطن لسياسات الشرق الأدنى، من تسلل عناصر من تنظيمي القاعدة والتوحيد والجهاد إلى دول جديدة تحت ضغط العمليات العسكرية الواقعة في شمال مالي. وأوصى التقرير بتعاون وثيق بين واشنطن والجزائر وباريس، من أجل التصدي للفصائل السلفية الجهادية في إقليم أزواد. كما أوصى معهد واشنطن بزيادة حجم العمليات السرية الأمريكية باستعمال الطائرات بدون طيار في شمال مالي.
وتوقع خبراء أمن ومختصون في قضايا الإستراتيجيا من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، تدخل الجيش الجزائري في الحرب بشمال مالي، في مواجهة الجماعات السلفية الجهادية التي تقاتل حاليا الجيش الفرنسي والقوات الإفريقية. وأشارت دراسة حديثة للمعهد الأمريكي للدفاع والأمن ''روفس'' المتعاقد مع وزارة الدفاع الأمريكية والمتخصص في الدراسات الإستراتيجية المستقبلية، إلى أن الأوضاع الميدانية في شمال مالي تؤكد أن القوات الفرنسية لن تتمكن، حتى بمساعدة الأمريكيين والقوات الإفريقية، من القضاء على التمرد الذي تشنه الجماعات السلفية الجهادية في إقليم أزواد، وستنعكس الأوضاع الأمنية المضطربة في إقليم أزواد على الأراضي الجزائرية المحاذية لمالي، وهو ما سيدفع المؤسسة العسكرية والأمنية في الجزائر لمراجعة خياراتها، واتخاذ قرار بالتدخل في شمال مالي، حسب الدراسة التي أشارت فقرات منها، جاءت تحت عنوان ''أخطاء في إدارة الصراع في مالي''، إلى أن المخابرات الجزائرية موجودة فعلا في شمال مالي، وهي تدير عمليات ملاحقة أمراء القاعدة بالتعاون مع الفرنسيين.
ونقلت تقارير إلى الحكومة الجزائرية حول الوضعية الصعبة التي تعيشها القوات الفرنسية في شمال مالي، وتتحدث هذه الدراسة عن قلة تعداد القوات البرية التي أقحمتها فرنسا في حرب مالي، حيث لا يزيد تعداد القوات المالية والفرانكو إفريقية التي حشدت لمواجهة تمرد القاعدة وحلفائها في شمال مالي، عن 15 ألف جندي. وباستثناء القوات الفرنسية، فإن القوات الإفريقية تعاني من ضعف في التسليح والتدريب، ولهذا فإن الفرنسيين، حسب نفس الدراسة، يكونون قد ارتكبوا نفس الخطأ الذي وقع فيه وزير الدفاع الأمريكي، دونالد رامسفيلد، أثناء غزو العراق قبل 11 سنة، عندما قرر الاعتماد على القوة الجوية مع تقليل القوات البرية على الأرض، وكانت النتيجة أن التمرد العسكري في العراق تفاقم وتحول إلى مصدر تهديد رئيسي. وتشير تقارير ميدانية من شمال مالي إلى أن القاعدة وحلفاءها استعادوا المبادرة في الأيام العشرة الماضية، وشنوا هجومين كبيرين على مدن في أزواد، وهو ما أربك مخطط الانسحاب الفرنسي من مالي. وتوقعت الدراسة أن الفرنسيين سينسحبون إذا تواصل الضغط العسكري للقاعدة وأنصار الدين، ولن تتمكن سوى قوة إقليمية واحدة من إعادة النظام لإقليم أزواد وهي الجزائر، كما أن الجزائر تتعامل بحساسية كبيرة مع شمال مالي بسبب الخوف من انتقال عدوى التمرد إلى أراضيها.
وأفاد معهد ''روفس'' بأن الحرب في ليبيا وسيطرة الإسلاميين على إقليم أزواد الذي أعقبه التدخل الفرنسي في مالي، كلفا الجزائر أكثـر من ملياري دولار كنفقات مباشرة صرفت لنقل قوات عسكرية وأمنية كبيرة، وإنشاء قواعد دائمة لها في الحدود الجنوبية والشرقية. وأضاف إن ثورات الربيع العربي والحرب في ليبيا دفعتا الحكومة الجزائرية إلى رفع نفقات التسلح وأعادت الجيش الجزائري إلى واجهة الأحداث.

The new deliveries will be in the Super SU30 format identical to the VVS one. Also the existing AFF SU30 will be brought up to that format.

I thought, it was a jealousy the Saoudi police officer who had with a certainty a small penis. Mr. Akbar Zeb, the Pakistani was sent home because of his name.

That was a real story, and the pakistani fellow was sent home because of his name...Saoudi Arabia is a moa djizat country...The last one, a Saoudi guy was condemned to be paralysed.
