The 25 Countries With The Most Brainpower

A bird without wings is a dinosaurs.

Are you saying your education system is a dinosaurs?

That's not very nice.

Ohhh then thats a huge being.....and extinct.
Lol...So what next white elephants???
But yes to an extent you're right we are still learning things which have lost its significance and relevance.
Okay lets try putting it this way....the education system is a dinosaur load which young kids have to carry on their tender shoulders.
But i can see Indians doing well abroad so i am still optimistic and hence the comment.

.
^^^ I just found it ironic that you used a wingless bird for your analogy which I don't think you did it on purpose.

. .
^^^ Well, I can't read your mind, but I can guess. I could be wrong.

A bird flies far and high - aspiration.
Without wings - poverty and corruption, without directions.

Your education system is weighted down by incompetent administration.

Our curriculum is well and good, But western countries like germany has the edge in research oriented syllabus and infrastructure, But Very few people complete the college. Reason why IT jobs are exported to countries like India.
Here most of the people complete college degree.

@INDIC : thanks for the link.

As to you @Fattyacids , I can only say that ignoring facts that show China in a bad light and boosting facts from selected incompetent Western researchers only reveals your own IQ level, in short marks you as nothing but a juvenile --a fanboy. Chinese always copy past articles to prove their point. Rather come up with a proper refutation --about what I said regarding Richard Lynn's methods. I am willing to bet you never even bothered to look up IQ and the wealth of nations.

So i guess there is no need of posting any further info on why the PISA test is invalid in India. Your primitive cranium probably doesn't stock enough grey matter to take it all in , let alone formulate a response.

And just to highlight your ignorance ---Again I am guessing you copy pasted the first Google Article you could find --picked out the name Tamil Nadu. It was 2 states --Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh who participated in the survey and PISA questions were more of a general knowledge type with proper mathematical calculations , logical reasoning limited to minimum. Don't expect Indian students to know about Glaciers or Autobahns but they will woop the collective international *** in Permutations and Combinations, Differential Calculus etc -- Now that's what we call real technical education.

All PISA proves that the majority of Grads in places like Hong Kong / Shanghai / Singapore will end up with useless degrees like English Literature , World History etc. which the Indian education machine will continue to roll out lakhs of Engineers , Doctors , Phd's ( pure science grads ) etc ...so essential to nation building.

So kid , i guess i burnt your *** a lot , I 'm gonna give you a respite . Don't be sore :P

Every academic research and benchmark puts China head and shoulder above India. Knowing Indian, I can understand your denial, but attacking me as a fanboy is not only going to lessen your complex. The least you could do is to back up your argument, but you even failed at that. What Intellect?

Let me burst your bubble of denial and educate you a little in the process.
First, spend 1 year study statistics and understand the term, statistical sampling. That would give you an insight to how empirical research is compiled, not every single individual is needed to participate. As dimwitted as you are, your govt officials understand it well. India chose its two strongest states with highest enrollment ratio (GER) in upper primary education to represent India in PISA. Tamil Nadu has100% GER, Himachal Pradesh a close second.

Next, study what PISA is all about before you speak. High IQ is not required. All it takes is a few minutes of reading. Heck, I'll make it easy for you,
PISA is an international study...to evaluate education systems worldwide by assessing 15-year-olds' competencies in the key subjects: reading, mathematics and science http://www.oecd.org/pisa/
See, PISA test students on Glacier or Autobahns as much as maths and science. Not only Indian students know nothing about Glaciers or Autobahns, they did equally poor in these technical subjects too.

Are we clear about PISA?

Now, when you're so poor in upper primary education, it makes one wonder how can you boast about axx swooping internationally in Permutations and Combinations, and Differential Calculus at secondary/college level?
Logically and factually, you can't.

International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)
Five nations have achieved an all-members-gold IMO with a full team:
  • China, 11 times: in 1992, 1993, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2011;
  • Russia, 2 times: in 2002 and 2008;
  • United States, 2 times: in 1994 and 2011;
  • Bulgaria, 1 time: in 2003;[33]
  • South Korea, 1 time: in 2012.

And when you're nowhere to be seen at international stage for Maths, how are you going to chunk out quality engineers and scientists at national level? You can't, unless you are delusional and Indian.

No Indian university in world’s top 200

China ahead again, now in scientific papers in journals

From PISA to university ranking and research journal publication, we have beaten you hands down. Who is the one truly having a combustion in the axx? :laughcry:
