Indian are talking about US joint venture for counter insurgency plans to control talibanization. But look at this video and tell the world, How secure is Indian weapons, when military ammo can reach out local without any problem. So, better stop Pak bashing.

That was a truck returning from a training camp, There were nothing to be "secured" . There was no problem with security. This happened because military did not want to attack the aggressors.

YRado8W7J9o[/media] - Why these Tamil Nadu Activists Attacked Indian Army convoy Trucks & where are our soldiers?

Pretty remarkable restraint by the Army. By law they cannot be prosecuted by police but still they avoid fighting the cops and did not fire at the civilians. The cops are trying to pacify the Army men -- the dialog at the end (cops to the Army man) is approximately "Please let it go, we'll take care of it".

BTW, Military ammo does not reach civilians - If you ever go to Tamilnadu, you would know that even the worst of riots are fought with stones and sticks. Newspaper worthy fights are settled with knifes and organized crime lords (if any exist other than politicians) use revolvers. This video was a case of common riots around south India - mobs of anti-socials and activists mixing together generally trashing whatever they can find; in this case Army trucks. I have been through a couple of these riots in Mumbai/Bangalore/Chennai - they are scary and cause a lot of property damage, but guns/deaths are not common. Not that I am supporting riots, but trying to put a perspective on the scale of things.

I am guessing that this will happen only once- usually Army does not act without orders. Someone will see this and say "Next time protect the cargo at all costs" and that would be the end of it.

In Bangalore, the "Madras Engineering Corps" office is usually the center of peace in every riot. They once had their offices stoned in the riots (not for any particular reason - it was a water dispute between states) and after that they decided to protect its offices at any costs. In a later riot a bunch of rioters walked into the Military Parade grounds in the center of Bangalore with stones in their hands -- and army came out from the other side with machine guns in hand. It was beautiful to see the rioters turn around and run. No body threw stones, nobody fired. (Also in Tamil-Kannada riots after that the area around their offices is a no-go zone for any rioter).
