Musharraf did many good things other than this as well which we don't recognize but because of him Pakistan gained a lot.

AQ. Khan is a very well protected person. I have only seen him once in my life at chashma when I was very young and it was nearly impossible to get near him.

Yes he got high lighted by USA and risk to him increased and Musharraf played wisely for securing him.

When you step into politics you should be ready to get insults coming your way. Every human has a wish to be dominant over the rest and reach the highest position and when you want to reach the top most position the only way is to topple the one sitting at the very top. So people will make all kind of stuff to defame and over throw that person. The problem with Musharraf was he reached top but he did every thing very openly and not covertly. He learned stuff to late into his administration.

The best thing Musharraf did was he left his post and position when he saw it was going to get ugly and bad for Pakistan. He accepted defeat rather than choosing bloodshed. He was a dictator and he could have chosen to be like Saddam but he chose to be a Pakistan rather than a dictator and left.
Leaders do make mistakes because their every decision has both type of effects, both good and bad.

After the end of current govt's tenure many will like ik and many will hate him, this is how it has always been in politics.

Very true. Infact look at the people who were sitting with Nawaz yeasterday, today they are like as if they they have nothing to do with Nawaz's deeds. But sure, they all will pay.
