TF-X Turkish Fighter & Trainer Aircraft Projects

Good suggestion, if we make a smaller single engine model we could call it Şahin, and the better equipped luxury version of that could be named Doğan.

I think it's perfect. You are a genius my friend.

A manned version of the Kizilelma could be given the name Sahin, and could be very appealing in the export market, especially amongst the Turkic nations of Central Asia looking to break free of Russian influence and dependence. Perhaps also for Pakistan as a long term replacement of the JF-17 in a couple of decades.

Hmm?? National Combat Aircraft Ceremony ... live roll-out and naming ceremony?

Any chance for a first flight today?

It's spelled Kağan you dimwits 😞

Kartal would have been a much better name.

Khan of Khans = Khagan = Kağan.

There is no such word as "Kaan" in Turkish. The correct spelling is Kağan.

bruh. It literally states on the Wikipedia

"the ğ in modern Turkish Kağan is also silent. Since the division of the Mongol Empire, monarchs of the Yuan dynasty and the Northern Yuan held the title of Khagan. Kağan, Hakan and Kaan, Turkish equivalents of the title are common Turkish names in Turkey. "
