Yes, the TFX/MMU is Turkey's original, indigenous fighter. However, the PAF could 'view' the TFX as a 'Western' fighter. Turkey is using its NATO leaning and now Western expertise to design and develop this fighter. So, to the PAF, it's a Western fighter.

I'm just saying this because if the TFX succeeds, the PAF's F-16s, at the end of the day, could end up being replaced by 'another Western fighter' (TFX).

Pakistan should stick with JF, work on that and join later TFX. The Turkish Block 70 upgrade will begin in 2023 so you will not need J31 or J10. Pakistan have a lot of old F16 what is perfect to upgrade to Turkish Viper program, you will not need American permission for that, we al ready now how to upgrade it from 8000 hours to 12000 hours. And avionics to radar is ready to go.

If America wasnt such a hurdle in this we wouldnt be searching all over the place for Cobra replacements or new F-16

We were getting a killer deal on Iraqi F-16 that wouldve added some real power post Turkish MLU
