Think about it,all these statements are just political tools.
All 28 members have to agree to stop negotiations which will never happen,you think Merkel doesnt know that?
Erdogan is just a political tool for European politicians(to gain votes,nothing else),just like Rutte used him to ''win'' the elections.
Negotiations will never stop,not that we will ever be let into the EU but we depend on each other and not just economicly.

I think, we shouldn't involve EU countries in our defense projects, because of the ongoing circumstances.

First it was Austria, then Germany, you won't know who will be the next.

As time is ticking for the design activities of Turkish National Fighter Program (TF-X) to start, companies are looking for a placement in Turkey to demonstrate their expertise on this subject. All 28 members have to agree to let Turkey in, which is as difficult.
Still both parties will benefit from cooperation, even if Turkey is not a member.
In two years, Turkey may have the same status as the U,K., LOL.

If we get the same status as the UK,im all for it.
