Textbook sparks row over mosque depicted as noise pollutant

I saw a religious place and according to me it says religious places also create noise pollution. It's the pseudo seculars who saw just a masjid there.
Yeah, that makes sense actually.
In fact technically it is not a masjid. A dome structure NEED not be a mosque.

Comparing a temporal phenomenon with something more general (365 days a year) is not healthy.
Think in this manner... 20-30 seconds of sound every day. Or 20-30 days in all of HIGH decibel noise with a competition for who does it loudest till very very late at night. I will choose first. 365 x 30 = 3.5 hours total! In all of the year!

The correct word is not 'hate'. Very few people know what is being said. :)
But it is not liked much. Anything repetitive all days of the year gets boring after a time. Can be better if it is kept at a particular time of the year. That makes events special.

Nope 'Hate is the correct word. They do hate it for the oppression it reminds them off. Why should I lie and say its not hate.

Its an ugly sound reminding people of ugly things, past and present.

NOBODY I KNOW associates that noise with goodness or peace or anything good.

These are picture of COPS posted outside Mosques. Why is that ?

:lol::lol:Accha

India is indeed a secular country and the world knows about it, Now the world needs to know that Hindus are the majority, so by publishing a temple they could have celebrated India and it majority population.:D
I wouldn't have a problem with a temple being shown there, but why can't you guys take this one for the team.

pretty much EVERY Non Muslim I know hates the loudspeak noise from mosques :cheesy: ........ you must be crazy to think only "sanghis" hate that
Well, there are a lot of things people hate about sound pollution. Neither I don't like loud speakers for Azaan, the only purpose of it is to mark time for prayers. Earlier they used to climb the tower and ask out loud.

Coming to your topic, the same would happen if there is a picture of Temple or a Church the feelings will be a hurt for the people of respective faith.
I was just kidding about the Sanghis:lol:, there may or may not be one. Oh and Sanghi's pretty much hate things about other religions. Especially the abrahamic ones.

Last thing we want is RSS terrorists pointing fingers at others on a Pakistani forum.
Are you triggered or what? Why don't you leave Indian muslims with themselves. We know what's bad and good. We don't need your opinion on anything.

1. 20 to 30 days? No Hindu or Sikh festival lasts beyond 11 days.
2. You prefer a pollutant for 365 days a year to a festival music that lasts for a few days at a stretch. I understand that. But there is a country that was carved out specifically for those who cannot live among Indian non Muslims. Two countries now, actually. :) Both sides will be happy.

Those who are after the Muslims will only focus on mosques.
Not really.....I have come across issues raised by Muslims also..... it may not get bold headlines

WOW ....... first you claim to be "kidding" about Sanghi's .. and then go on to pretend to be an "expert" on Sanghi's

What else do you know about the "sanghis" ? .. what is their favorite movie and their favorite fruit ? :cheesy:

BTW have you heard of an Tower Clock ? ..... ... they are used to "mark time" too.

As if we don't get your opinions as to how we should treat our minorities. You reap what you sow. Get used to it or leave the forum, certainly Pakistanis don't need your opinion.

If peace loving people in india don't wake up they'll end up living in 21st century Nazi Germany. The choice is in your hands, we can only observe from outside.

FOLKS! Its about stereotyping... We all know what comes to minds of almost all indians when they show picture of an building with arched gate, multiple domes and lines showing sound. Its a Mosque doing Azaan! Anyone understands it! Lets do one thing.. lets do a facebook quiz by cropping that much out and ask folks on facebook, what do they associate it with!

I am not exactly a pro muslim person, but this is ridiculous! We are trying to defend here what is clearly a Stereotyping of a specific community here. I say this is horse manure!

Its not a question of technicallity, its symbolism and a stereotyping one!
