Tesla cars are just toys for adults and nothing more.
But we should enjoy it as long as it lasts.
we have better coverage for Nissan Leaf than those Tesla’s here is tokyo.

You can charge a Tesla at a regular charging station in Japan with CHAdeMO but you can't charge a leaf at a Tesla Supercharger without a very expensive adapter.

Do you think Tesla hit 3000 .. ?

Depends upon how the FSD pans out. If it works then 3000 will be very easy as they will corner the market.

Can you imagine what will happen if they start running ads around the world that show people pressing a button on their phone and having their car summoned to the entrance of the building/restaurant/airport they are exiting? Then they jump in the backseat and voice command it to take them home and then fall asleep...only to be woken up by a soft voice when you reach home..

It will be like the Macintosh debut.

Plus it will auto-recharge the car when we don't use it. So every time we want to drive, it will be fully recharged.

And when we went to the shopping mall, the car will find the parking lot and park the car automatically, as well as if we want to go home, we just need to wait at the mall entrance.

Well spookily enough it may end up actually watching you through your phone GPS and when it feels you are heading for the place it dropped you off it takes the initiative on its own to get there.

You: Hey I'm heading for the Mall exit
Car: I noticed..I'm already on my way.

Electric vehicles are more expensive than gas vehicles, costly to maintain, entire car becomes useless if battery dies.

Greatest fire hazard too, punctured Lithium batteries burn like thermite. Within seconds whole car catches fire, low chance to escape in most cases.

Also, lead mining/processing requires huge supply of water and poisons it.

Carbon credits are just another way to rip off people and extort nations.

If you want to save the environment, grow trees.

I'm going to say this is one (if not the #1) of my biggest faults with current EV tech.

If I'm going to fork over a bunch of dough for a car it had better give me a good return on investment. I've had to replace laptop batteries..and wasn't happy doing it. Now imagine getting stuck with replacing a car battery.

Although supposedly the battery should last 300,000-500,000 miles. If your car lasts that long then maybe you got a real winner because I highly doubt 5% of gasoline cars can pull that off. Just owning it long enough to hit those numbers will see the car destroyed by exposure to the elements (at least where I am).
