The "foreign ideas" have been remarkably successful in "clashing " with the resident faith with approximately 520 million of the original Aryavarta accepting these "foreign ideas". Majority of the residents in Bangladesh accepted the "foreign " ideas as recently as the early 1800s.

Don't ask me. Ask the Dravidians who have their own party further South who claim their language Tamil is older than Sanskrit.

I was posting this very morning about how the Dalit leader, Ambedkar, considered that same crescent and star "guest faith" for adoption as his faith before settling upon Buddhism along with 365,000 of his followers.

What would have been your reaction if he and those many of his followers had chosen Islam after all ? Or even better, Islam's natural successor in my opinion - modern Communism ?

Indian Muslims don't complain.
In a broader sense based on the experience with the Mongols and the Spaniards the record of the survival of Islam is mostly positive . After 200 years the Mongols succumbed and converted. The Spaniards did not. Their Reconquista was successful. 600 years later Islam is back in Spain though in a far more modest way.
