Yes, terrorism backfires. US supported Alqaeda against Russia, it backfired. Pakistan also supported alqaeda, it also backfired. If Nepal had requested for funding this program then things would have been different, but being a different country Nepal can't leave it's security deals at the hands of any foreigner.

India and Nepal already have complex security and strategic defence agreements since post-independence. The program must be designed in such a way that you can ensure that you are able to make foolproof passports and that we can help you actually get them. Biometric passports have long become passe and therefore we need to adopt new technologies to avoid terrorism in both Nepal and India.

Since you guys have a visa on arrival or visa-free policies for certain other countries (due to your good relations with them, which is fine), these countries misuse the privilege and infiltrate into India using the dense mountainous and forest terrain and then do terrorist activities in key cities.

This is what our countries need to sit down and address. Because ultimately it is the security of both our countries' citizens at stake.

If someone terrorist gets a Nepali passport using fraud means, then that means he can enter India, work in India as long as he wants, gather sensitive intelligence for as long as he wants and keep acting against our interests. This will not only tarnish the good image of Nepali people and the trust we have but also later become a security headache for you guys.

Can't agree more. Illegal nepali passports today are being owned by bagladeshi and indians to go to gulf country to work. They're misusing it thus tarnishing Nepal's name already. This is our biggest concern.
India and Nepal should come together to fight back terrorism, prevents terrorist from using Nepal's soil to get access to India. But I guess India and Nepal together worked to nab alot of terrorist from Nepal. Also, we have had kashmiri population for a long time so we need to make sure innocent aren't being abused.

Go onto generalize I don't care. I know tits and bits about India, good or bad. But my focus doesn't lie there because I understand evil exists not only in every country but in every street. I'm not going to generalize Indians on basis of what some people did.
