TEHRAN (FNA)- Some recent confessions made by a PKK (Kurdistan Worker's Party) ringleader have unveiled Israel's tight relations and collaboration with the terrorist group, Turkish media reports said on Sunday.

According to a report by the Turkish TRT network, Kanan, the leader of an 8-member cell disbanded by the Turkish security forces, confessed that he had played a part in the raid on a Turkish navy base in Iskenderun port on May 31, 2010, the same day Israeli commandos attacked Mavi Marmara, the aid ship trying to break the Gaza Siege.

Kanan said in his confession that he lives in Israel and travels to Turkey occasionally, adding that he had commuted between the two countries several times prior to the last year attack on the Turkish naval base.

Turkish security experts say that concurrence of the two attacks is not accidental and rather signifies the link between the PKK and Tel Aviv. They also believe that the PKK has attacked on the navy base at the request of the Zionist regime.

In September, Turkish media report said that Israel's hawkish foreign minister was planning a series of measures to retaliate against Turkey in an apology row, including military aid to the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party.

Accordingly, Avigdor Lieberman insisted that the Israeli efforts should focus on ways to respond to Turkey's sanctions, not formulating an apology for the 2010 incident.

In reply, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stressed that his country will not be blackmailed.

Davutoglu condemned the plan Lieberman proposed to other Zionist officials, which called for punishing Turkey by supporting the terrorist organization PKK.

"No one will be able to blackmail us," said Davutoglu during a press conference in Ankara. "We hope that Israel's denial (of supporting the PKK) will also be accompanied by actions."

hm... I don't think responding in kind to what Israel does is nice. The best way to corner Israel is probably through uniting Palestinians and enforcing their recognition globally. After that, all countries who recognize palestine could potentially put trade with Israel on hiatus or ban it. Of course Israel would still trade with the US. Of course once Palestine is recognized globally as an occuppied state then Israel will feel more pressure.

U need a "confession" to determine that? Never heard about stamps in passport? Silly stories invented by yellow press.

It has emerged that PKK terrorist Rezzan Balta, who died in the suicide attack on the Gonyuk Gendarmerie Outpost, had moved with the same group and that he had left a note with terrorist Kenan Yildizbakan shortly before the attack then taken a 5 kg bomb and departed Amanos. Intelligence units had found out that these terrorists were going to carry out an attack that would be talked about all over the world. They determined that the terrorists were getting ready to carry out a bombing attack on tourist-carrying ships in Antalya in accordance with instructions received from northern Iraq. The terrorists, who are still being questioned, are expected to be arraigned today. Furthermore, Deniz Abukan, Emine Ak ad Cimen Turk were apprehended by patrolling soldiers as they tried to sneak into Turkey from Syria. Five more people were also taken into custody on charges of aiding and abetting those three female terrorists. It is possible that two of these terrorists, who were reportedly trained in Syria, could be suicide bombers.

facts

-Fars News Agency ( it explains the tone of the article)

-this terrorist was a construction worker in Israel ( this explains how he happened to be there)

but

-a raid on our navy base, the same day Israeli commandos attacked Mavi Marmara

1-pkk exploited the situation ( I can still remember my anger when i hear the news about the navy base raid that day)
or
2-Israel decided to end what is left as a relation between us and any future with Turkiye that night by somehow having a link to a pkk raid

.
A Heron which belongs to Israel Air Force was found by fishermen in Turkish waters. It's really interesting that it was found around terrorist attack area.

1) Operation requires planning many weeks in advance.
2) Rockets used in attack could come only from Syria.

More silly yellow press stories. Why do u need UAV to attack static base? Turkey did not detect a huge UAV in its airspace?
