Terrorist takes Australian cafe customers hostage:

.
To be honest it crosses borders

Do you remember what happened in abu ghraib

Or that 12 year old iraqi girl who was gang raped by American soldiers then her family killed

Or destruction of fallujah, hitting wedding parties etc

Its all connected a generation of youth gtew up seeing this images on news, social media and forums the anger, frustration grew into hatred and radicalisation

Just like lines are blurred with the muskim community lines are blurred with the non-muslim different conflicts become part of one large war

Trying to fix it now is like trying to stuff things back into Pandoras box

We can de radicalise but not when wars or occupation are continuing because the next bomb, gaza war, etc is just round the corner

The same could be said about the "occupying" forces...perhaps they were radicalized watching their friends and family burn in the World Trade Towers. Maybe those gang raping war criminal soldiers were also traumatized by the actions of the terrorists. Perhaps the entire Western world has been traumatized by not only September 11, but the countless acts of genocide, corruption, mismanagement, and ignorance that comes out of many Muslim countries. We are not angels either, but we as a society are peaceful and educated and very tolerant.

Why should Shia support ISIS? Does not make any sense. He is probaby lone wolf.

Terrorists don't need to make any sense, most of them are not very bright to begin with. This guy is an obvious socio path with megalomaniac tendencies who finds comfort in controlling others through the only instrument that gives him any credibility...Islam.

LOL, I wonder what Abii is thinking now?

I almost feel the pain when rereading his posts in this thread now when it turns out that this person is a Farsi.

Anyway his ethnicity or nationality matters nothing nor does a few "Muslim" maniacs speak in the name of almost 2 billion Muslims.
hell it matters . as much as its a shame for us iranians that he has an iranian trail

he was kicked out of the country as he was a fVcking terrorist ..... but again :

In December 2014 Haron announced that he used to be a Rafidi but he had converted to Islam, he announced it both on his website[17] and his Facebook Page

Sheikh Haron - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

thats when he started to go nuts ...... does that ring a bell , saudi ?

"In 12 December 2013, Haron and Amirah were given bail at Penrith Local Court. Magistrate Darryl Pearce said there wew significant flaws in the Crown's case against the pair. "It is a weak case'" he said.[13] Prosecutor Brian Royce said Monis' claims the Iranian Secret Police and ASIO were trying to frame him for the murder was fanciful. ."

Why are we not seeing Hindus, Jews. Buddhists, Sikhs, or Christians carrying out terror acts in the name of their faith on the same people they come to looking for jobs and security? What is the variable at play that inspires Muslims to ditch all worldly aspirations and rational logic to attack the very core of civilization and the very definition of peace? The clergy has failed their job both in the West (as a public relations campaign) and in the institutions that breed terrorists in the East. The new generation needs an Ata Turk to really drive home the point that anarchy and terrorism are not only un-Islamic, but that Islam has no place in government or society. Shariah is simply sensory overload for the average "Kaffir".... even many Muslims I know choose to leave Islamic countries because they can't stand living in a backwards society. Islam may be an Abrahamic faith, but it's interpretation and implementation needs to come out of the 11th century.

Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist, Sikh, or Christian lands/wealth aren't occupied nor attacked. At least, that's what an average Muslim observes. Many conflicts around the world also involve Islamic countries. From Palestine to Iraq everyone can relate to these conflicts. Scores of people die each day in these conflicts. Of course, there is hypocrisy in the world when it comes to resolving outstanding major conflicts. Heck, an occupying force blatantly murders women and children in broad daylight whilst the world looks the other way. Yes, I'm referring to Palestine. Hence, some so-called "Muslims" which are susceptible to violence are influenced. Some are simply rouge elements. Again, they belong to a specific ideology which has no commonality to any faith let alone Islam. The vast majority of Muslims don't relate nor condone violence in any form. Neither does the Islamic faith or any of its branches. Such outfits are a typical guerilla movement which use indiscriminate force to make their grievances heard. The only difference is that they abuse faith under the garb of injustice. Even their genuine grievances become null and void. After all, violence never resolves anything.

However, it's much more complicated than that. Violence in many countries around the world is also artificially fabricated. The violence is fabricated internally as well as externally. The Taliban, AQ, ISIL etc. are all militant groups which have received backing from the West in the past. This is no secret. They become "good" when their services are required. They become "bad" when they become a liability. This hypocrisy needs to stop both in the Islamic world as well as the West. Time has come to call a spade a spade. Also, the conflicts in the world need to be addressed in a fair manner which leaves no oxygen for grievances or radical thoughts.

We have a saying in Iran. The direct translation is a "bowl hotter than the soup." I think it's self explanatory, but here it refers to the fact that sub-continent muslims are more radical than Middle Easterners themselves lol

With Arabs, once you take away the Saudis, they're actually not bad. Most of them are liberal(ish). Most Pakistanis I've met are super conservative.

Turned out to be an Iranian after all, but the saying still applies.

About this developing story itself, its safe to say that Muslims and Islam has been damaged beyond repair.

Point of the case is that generalization is moronic. Like there are not Iranian murderers, criminals, terrorists, bad people etc. like among every other ethnicity. Outside of this lunatic.

This has nothing to do with 99,9% of all Muslims who are peaceful people who are contributing to their societies and law-abiding people just like the vast majority is in every society.

Also there are almost 2 billion Muslims from all corners of the world, all economic, social, ethnic etc. backgrounds. Only ignorants believe that we are a homogenous group of people. Islam is the most diverse major religion in the world.

The usual Islamophobes on PDF are quick to preach whenever something remotely involves Islam or "Muslims" or whenever a Muslim farts but are stunningly silent whenever injustices are done on Muslims. I for once have never seen those same people appear in threads that deal with civilian Muslims that are killed in drone attacks in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen or Somalia. Not even in the Western media. Those life's are less valuable. That's clear for everyone. Yet they try to take the moral high-ground here. It's absolutely sickening.

The fear of "Islamic terrorism" has been proven time and time again to be totally blown out of proportion. There have been 3 major terrorist attacks on the Western world in the past 13 years. It should explain it all. In comparison there have been 10.000 9/11 in the Muslim world done by non-Muslims. That's a fact as well.

You can read my earlier posts regarding this.

What are we supposed to do as Muslims if a microscopic amount of so-called Muslims are causing trouble which is 99,9% of the time due to social, psychological, economic etc. reasons and religion just comes handy when they need to "excuse" their maniac behavior.

Islam is not the problem. It's certain people. Any ideology can be misused. Terrorism existed long before Islam and will exist even if Islam disappeared tomorrow. Islam and modern terrorism is a very recent phenomenon. Less than 35 years old.

So-called Buddhists were blowing themselves up in Sri Lanka (also Japanese during WW2) in the hundreds if not thousands long before any Muslim thought about doing so. A fact. To this day there have been no more than 200-500 Muslim suicide bombers in human history. Compared to how many Muslims once again? Yes that's right, almost 2 billion Muslims. You and everyone else do the math.

If every 100th Muslim was blowing himself up and murdering people then we could talk about something.

As of now a huge diverse group is being singled out because of a microscopic minority among "them".

I refuse to agree with those bigots in any shape or form. The so-called "Muslim" ones and the non-Muslims. I can send them a letter with the words (screw yourself) to both of them though.

^^ Unfortunately, there is a lot of hypocrisy and double standards in our world. It's a given that one life is worth more than another.

Although, the ideology needs to be tackled. An ideology which uses violence can never be condoned. No matter what grievances it possesses. Even if drone strikes kill innocent people. Islam doesn't preach violence in return for violence. That too involving innocent people. I hope sanity prevails some day.

The ideology that you are speaking about is the ideology of us humans. The struggle that we all have within ourselves between good and bad. Humans are vicious creatures when necessary. History is our witness and we don't need any religions or ideologies to be that. Only simpletons and bigots believe this to be the case.

As I see all of this (which is probably much more correct and sophisticated than most simpletons - which most people are - might sound arrogant but that's the reality) then people who become terrorists or turn to senseless violence (I for instance do not consider self-defense as violence nor the Palestinian struggle etc.) have most often social, psychological, economic (actual studies confirm this) problems and that they use a perverted version of Islam is irrelevant as those people do not need a ideology to commit evil. Those same people could turn political ideologies into violence just because they disagree with their "enemies" (read political opponents). In the same way that "Muslim" terrorists see non-Muslims (and ironically everyone that disagrees with them) as "enemies".

Funny for all the crying about ISIS the media in the West are rarely mentioning the fact that the biggest victims are Muslims themselves. Yet a few beheadings of Westerners (as tragic as they are) take all the headlines.

We don't look at religion when deranged people are mass-murdering people in school shootings, when serial killers are murdering people, when psychopaths are killing people for profit etc.

Those people are so far out that we cannot do much. I am absolutely sure that those people could use any ideology and commit evil. Why because they are hellbent on doing so.

No normal people, whether Muslim or non-Muslim do such things. As I said if Islam commanded people to kill civilians, blow yourself up or take people as hostages in some restaurants (no such things exist) then we could talk about Islam being the problem. That's not the case though and if some so-called Muslims claim that this is Islam they are a microscopic minority and I agree that they must be combated. My two quick cents on this issue.

Got to go though. Have some exams to prepare for. Let's hope that nobody gets harmed.

Karma is wild b!tch

Indeed it is and sooner rather than later it will catch up with all of us.
