With the watered down definition, it is clear that a real martyr is a Shaheed.
That does not neccessarily make a Shaheed a real Martyr.
Islam does not get to define the meaning of a Greek/Christian concept.
So Muslims translating Shaheed to Martyr are changing the meaning of the word to claim valour, where there is none.

Just because you decide to call someone that can add 1 + 1 and get 2 a Math Genius, does not make them a real Math Genius.

Martyrdom is not a concept that can be attributed to a set religion. Each religion has its own version of martyrdom and how to attain said status. Islam, Christianity, Judaism etc. All of them have a concept of martyrdom. Cry some more Sweden boy
