I am always amused by people on PDF going on about Mohsin Dawar, PTM, ANP etc. The fact is all these groups, people are NOT mainstream but are just fringe. Non hold government ministeries or federal departments. Meaning they are politicaly insignificant. Yet on PDF they are painted as curse of Pakistan. Fact is all combined have minimal influence on Pakistan.

Now compare them to Altaf bhai. As head leader of MQM they ruled the largest city of Pakistan, Karachi for decades. Under Musharaf they held positions in federal government and ran Pakistan. This is fact. Yet Altaf was what Mohsin Dawar can only be in his wet dreams.

However relative to his damage [real] to Pakistan [don't forget he enjoyed vast support in Karachi] and had third largest seats in national assembly forming governments showing they had millions voting for them I note people are very, very quite and at times even apologetic and making excuses. MQM fight was not for Karachi. Urdu speaker term is also misleading as many so called urdu speakers in Karachi were there before 1947 but of different origins that came after 1947. Urban/rural quota system was not the reason either. How could killing of Karachites of pashtun and punjabi origins would have increased their share in Sindh quota.

In all this we must not forget the men behind end of MQM terrorists. Right from 90's till this decade, only one men had balls to start operations against MQM. He had to pay price in coup when Musharraf with MQM mindset was made COAS. Though this time he got in jail for Panama shenanigans.
