Terrorism & Elections in Pakistan

The bombings continue and innocents keep on dying. We condemn these cowardly acts in the strongest of ways and send our condolences to the families of the people who are killed in these senseless violence. It is sad that the terrorists do not realize that with their killings they do not take a life, but they kill a bread earner, who may have been the sole supporter of a large family. But do they care? I think not, as they keep attacking day in and day out. Their current objective is to derail the elections in Pakistan. It is proven now, though a recent Pew Poll, that majority of Pakistanis have totally rejected terrorism and they view the terrorists as the biggest threat to their security. The TTP know that and they are on their last breath. In their desperation they are trying to inflict as much damage to the Pakistanis as possible. We stand by the people of Pakistan as the bravely brace another bunch of terrorist storms. We have no doubts that yet again the people of Pakistan will defeat the enemy’s agenda by going out and voting for the victory of democracy and thus Pakistan.

It is sad to see so many innocent die at the hands of the terrorists... Terrorism has really plagued Pakistan for long. I really hope TIP has been given mandate for KP and if they are able to bring relative peace in that province it will be a great feat for them...
