Territory lost of China coz of western invasion From 1840 to today

Russia should claim back Alaska though, with Alaska Russia will be the true controller of artic ocean, in which it will become more and more important both strategically and economically in the near future.
I do not see the point. It is sparsely populated and harsh land. The return of Alaska to Russia is possible only in the case of global collapse of the United States and only on the own will of the population.

If Alaska can return to Russia,so does outer manchuria to China.

Population and climate isn't the problem, what Russia need is to make artic ocean their backyard. If USA lost Alaska, Russia will be the sole nuclear armed country in the entire artic ocean region.

I do agree with your point about how such territorial swap should occur, though I will suggest one more point, peaceful dialogue.

I see no reason for this. The US does not have an icebreaker fleet. Russia fully controls the Northern Sea Route, which will compete with the Suez Canal in the coming decades due to the melting of ice.

USA doesn't need icebreaker fleet to compete with Russia, they just need to back up countries in the artic ocean region with their military, and let these dudes compete with Russia with their icebreaker fleets, and get money from arm sales etc.

Noone of them is floating along the Russian Arctic - Russia has no threats in the Arctic. So we do not have to compete with them. Russia has a monopoly over Northen Sea Route.

Well, all I could say is don't underestimate USA and its goons, always tread carefully and think out of the box.

USA are southerners, the only naval force in the North, except Russia, is Norway.

I thought the whole point about technology is to allow humans to breach their physical limitations, and from the mere few decades I had lived through, I don't think sticking too much to the old well-proven logic will do us much good in the 21st century.

It all does not matter. The only thing that matters in Arctic - who controls the route from Asia to Europe. It is Russia.

Expanding territory is so last century anyway. It just boost a national ego when looking at the map but does little to improve the standard of living of a people. More than 90% of China's population live east of the Heihe–Tengchong Line; less than 50% of the country territory.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heihe–Tengchong_Line

Mongolia is 4-5x the size of Japan, but so what? They have little population and influence. 99% of the land are empty and inhabited. What's useful is really just the natural resources beneath the land. Trade and globalization means that you don't need to own the land to have access to these resources. What's important is if you have the money to purchase them.

So in today's world land is not as useful as institutions, technology and human resources. These are what really makes a country stronger and people's lives better.

Look at the US. It's not the largest country in land area in history, but it is certainly the most influential power ever. Not just because of her military, but also thanks to her culture, economics, institutions and technology.
Thank Lord Satan you're not a Chinese leader

Lol...great wall of China... Area inside the great wall is only China..others enemy territory...
