But what about Adam and Eve =-O? All abrahamic religions came from collections of mesopotanian myths like the Garden of eve which in reaity a asdyrian bedtime story incomprerated into jewish religion by the conquest of Judea by Babylon under nubucanezzer

Or the stories originated from Religious texts?
How can you be so sure?

I am sure because i "Believe"...

Alcohol is completely haraam in Islam - no doubt about it. Those who argue otherwise are just trying to sneak one in.

Of course I don't agree with bans, but it should be highly regulated.

As a Pakistani I don't like to see drunk people in public places, restaurants, concerts, streets. I don't want it to be available to youngsters. I want awareness programs about the dangers of alcoholism.

If grown adults want to drink in the privacy of their homes, go ahead. But it should not be sold with my groceries - liquor distributors should deliver them personally to an adult who orders it online or over the phone - get a sign off on the purchase from the buyer matching it with the bottles signature. So that if tomorrow a minor is caught with an alcoholic beverage you should know exactly which adult to go and catch.

Regulate it strictly and you won't need to ban it.
Great post, even though I'm very open minded, i found it disgusting really realy DISGUSTING how alcohol was available in normal grocery stores, it's like you were being forced to drink it, and the worst part were sick drunk people on the streets around pubs(saw this in wales)

Let him follow what he thinks is right, if he's honest to himself, we are in no position to say his beliefs are wrong

I respect other's opinions and think alcohol halal opinions are equally valid unless disproved in the proper non-biased debate - but personally i jus stay on the safe side and limit myself to local stuff like cheap weed
i recommend other who believe it's halal to be on the safe side to and regard their health

"Halal" is an Islamic religious term..No Alcohol is not Halal...Lets not manipulate Islam for our own pleasure....
People can do what hey want but lets not try to change basics of Islam..
Christians did that...
and now many say that Christian god was also gay..because they themselves are gay...
Lets not go on those lines.

7 days for "Lord" is Billions of years for us...
And who created Gravity?

Billions of years of Gravity could not create a Jumbo jet on its own,and life is much more complicated than Jumbo jet?

Evolution has happened but it is "Guided evolution"..Not happening on its own..

Evolution is still happening and the force that drives evolution is natural selection.

Billions of years of Gravity could not create a Jumbo jet on its own,and life is much more complicated than Jumbo jet?

* Argumentative.
** LOL, you kill me :D
*** We agree!
**** Agreed (don't know what "strictly" means. To keep a database of drinkers so later they can be harassed?)
***** I have witnessed less violence in bars than in a burger outlet in Pakistan. I can provide you a analogy between guns and violence and we can argue all day long.
****** Agreed, that's how it should be.
******* Excellent idea!

Alcohols don't have fruity flavour. Even wine don't taste fruity.

Did you not understand what I said? I said fruity flavor beverages. There are alcoholic beverages made with fruity flavors, please tell me this is not a revelation to you?

Cocacola has Cocoa beans extract as in Cofee extract
Untrue mate. Still has coca extract. Only one company IN THE WORLD removes the active ingredient, sells it to the US Pharma and rest 90% (detoxified) is sold under strict control to Coca-Cola.

Even more clearly declared haram examples are : hypocracy, anger, feud, killing, lying, injustice, bribery, riba, dishonesty...
but pakistanis are more concerned about wether women cover their heads or wether 11 year olds should be included in the blasphemy law

Please don't even get us started with those intolerant uncivilized uncultured fanatics. Those types of people are an embarassment to the country.

Did you ever live in Pakistan/
If you did and had mingled with the masses..you wouldn't have said that...
FYI..Here in Britain and all over Europe..Muslim women prefer to cover up and no we men don't force them...
Its an instruction in Islam for women, and them being Muslims do that on their own accord, why make fuss about it?
