Nato wont care unless it is some east european country. What did they do for ukraine ? ukraine stupidly lost crimea by following the west. Russia is simply going to arm the proxies and make turkey unstable. If Nato is so strong why not fight directly with russia instead of using minions like turkey? It is simply bcos they dont want to take the risk.

Russia economy is on life support, simple google search would explain all. As I said Putin got into Syria for internal political reason now can't get out.

Ukraine is not part of NATO so nothing happened. If NATO abandons turkey that would be the end of NATO so it's not going to happen. It will go to war with Rusia if Turkey is threatened.

I don't think you fully understand what NATO is or that Russia is simply one country. There is no USSR or a Warsaw Pact. One country although powerful is no match for NATO and Turkey is not a minion.

Russia is incapable of taking on Turkey itself in its backyard let alone take on NATO which would pressure it simultaneously across its entire western border simultaneously. What you do not seem to realise if Russia choose to take on NATO it can simply can not limit the theatre of conflict as it wants. NATO response would be on all of Russia's pressure points. That's why it rather than the communist block which won the Cold War.
