Telangana stir enters 31st day today in India

You have shot yourself in the foot. In spite of small numbers, more casualties on Pakistani side

Small troop strength means there will be outnumbered by the larger army. Also look at the areas loss (mi^2) by the Pakistan troops vs the Indian troops in the 1965 war.

.
Let's play another game:

1965 -

Indian Army strength: 700,000 Infantry
Pakistan Army strength: 260,000 Infantry

Indian Army losses: 3000 men
Pakistan Army losses: 3800 men

Indian territory lost: 1,617 mi^2 territory
Pakistan territory lost: 741 mi^2 territory

India/Pakistan troops ratio: 700,000/260,000 = 2.7
Pakistan/India territory loss ratio: 741/1617 = 0.46

1999 war:

Indian troop strength: 30,000
Pakistan troop strength: 5000

Indian troops losses: 527
Pakistan troops losses: 626

You can see the ratios here as well.

again you started lets not forget PA intruded into Indian territory, empty Indian post.

.
Chest thumping by killings of innocent citizens.
Bomb explosion in the crowded streets of Delhi or Lahore is not matter of Valour.
Terrorism in any form is condemable.
ask the Feelings of a mother whose child has died in explosion, wheater Hindu or Muslim answer will be same.
Even tears become dry.

Rail roko begins in Telangana TRS, Cong leaders detained:

Hyderabad, Oct 15 (PTI) Several pro-Telangana leaders, including elected representatives of TRS and ruling Congress, were taken into custody today as the three-day `rail roko' agitation began in the region in support of the statehood demand.

Among those taken into preventive custody were Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao's son and MLA K T Rama Rao and his daughter K Kavitha, who is President of Telangana Jagruti, a cultural outfit of TRS.

Police thwarted attempts by Rama Rao and his supporters to lay siege to the residence of Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy, while Kavita was taken into custody for squatting on railway track at Moula Ali Station here.

Medak MP Vijay Shanti was detained near Lakadi-ka-Pul station here while Karimnagar Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar and ex-Minister Jeevan Reddy were detained in Karimnagar district. Congress MP S Rajaiah was taken into custody in Warangal.
Police also took into custody scores of protesters, who squatted on rail tracks in different districts of the region and raised slogans in support of Telangana.

As a precautionary measure, the South Central Railways (SCR) has announced cancellation of as many 124 passenger trains and diverted/rescheduled some others, including local trains, passing through Telangana, already crippled due to the month-long strike by Government employees.

Andhra Pradesh Police have made elaborate security arrangements to thwart attempts by Telangana supporters to disrupt rail services. Central paramilitary forces have been deployed in the state capital and all Telangana districts.

Telangana-Joint Action Committee (T-JAC), consisting of some political parties and people's organisations, has called for a rail blockade from today to October 17 to press for statehood to the region. PTI

I'm glad you bring these things up Bilal Bhai, it just shows the situation in India is worse than Pakistan.

India is fighting Freedom Fighters in Indian Occupied Kashmir, Naxalites, the Khalistani insurgents, ULFA.
I wonder how much longer India can survive, before it collapses.

Telangana protests continue after 5 weeks:

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (PTI) The Telangana supporters today continued rallies and other forms of protests in support of the separate statehood demand as part of their five-week-old stir.

A number of pro-Telangana users of various social networking sites held a rally from Bagh Lingampally to Indira Park here. The leaders of pro-Telangana employees of the state electricity department observed a fast here, while several political leaders from BJP and TRS expressed solidarity with them.

Meanwhile, responding to the appeal made in Delhi by Union Health Minister and in-charge of Congress affairs in Andhra Pradesh, Ghulam Nabi Azad, the leaders of the staff unions said they will hold a meeting soon to decide their future course of action.

Talking to reporters in Delhi, Azad today said, "there is a prolonged agitation in Telangana by employees of the state government. It is almost five weeks since it started. As a result, the general public is suffering...facing hardships particularly during the festival days". "I would like to appeal to the employees of Telangana to call off the strike," he said.

The pro-Telangana employees have been participating in the 'sakala janula samme' (strike by all sections of people) since September 13 but various unions of employees like those of teachers and others have withdrawn from the stir in the last couple of weeks. However, some other pro-Telangana employees still continued their strike.

Several Telangana Congress leaders, including MPs and ministers, today held a meeting at the residence of state Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy here.

The Telangana Congress MPs would like to stay away from the Andhra Pradesh Formation Day celebrations on November one, Congress MP G Sukhender Reddy told PTI. The state ministers from the Telangana region, who are supposed to participate in the official programmes related to the state Formation Day, are discussing their plan of action, he said.

Meanwhile, the supporters of united Andhra Pradesh, who have been holding protests in support of their demand, said they would organise a public meeting in Visakhapatnam on November one. Leaders of all political parties should attend the meeting to strengthen the demand for keeping Andhra Pradesh united, Kishore, a leader of pro-united Andhra students said. PTI
