Telangana plunges into its first financial crisis

Quoting a news from 2014 is illogical as hell

No power cuts in TS from May: KCR - The Hindu

And this has happened till now for me atleast for sure, I have stayed in Ahmadabad for about 3 months, the only thing I liked was the river front and its sectional view, rest there is nothing different there from any other city and solar systems in Gujarat are good, but you cannot compare an IT city to any city in Gujarat for sure. and I am not a Bangladeshi but a US Citizen, cover your knowledge on me next time before commenting.

LOL............ are you seriously posting a "promise" quote by an Indian politician ? ........... How old are you ?

Just wait till next summer to watch the fun.

I don't care what you "liked" and "din't like" , I am talking about govt. providing basic facilities to its citizens.

Hyderabad is beautiful today, no doubt. But that is what CBN created and he got voted out of power for a long time because of that. NOTHING to do with KCR. It was CBN who crafted Hyderabad as "Cyberabad' i.e. IT City.

I offered you my apartment on rent because you are a US citizen and not a Bangladeshi citizen. LOL. That should have been obvious.

I am old enough to see things positively and remarkable changes happen. Now I shall just stop quoting because seems like you are a Political lover rather than a Facts guy

LOL. You are clearly not old enough to distinguish between facts and promises.

I don't give a fcuk about either CBN or KCR, I just stated facts for what it is. Only you seem unable to digest it. (I am sure you have your own "business" reasons for that)

India is changing and there are Remarkable changes happening ALL over India. We all see it, live it, breath it.

This CM is still learning tricks of administration... Hopefully Telangana will not loose the race..

KCR is one of the handful Arseholes, appointed as CMs on the basis of Promises they can't keep.

Believe me, Khejriwal will do to Delhi, what KCR has done to Telangana. By the time the KHAAP Government leaves office,
Delhi, the wealthiest city of India, will be as bankrupt as Kolkata, thanks to an ultra commie basturd as CM voted to power by a non resident , illiterate Bihari-UP vote bank, which currently is busy working on their family farms in their home states, leaving average Dilliwala to suffer under khujliwal misrule

I am not sure, if I have said this before, but I would rather have Nawaz Sharif as CM rather than this Dharma crazy turd

Bro' I did a lot of surveys for Rajiv Arogyashree and other such welfare schemes in Hyderabad some 8-10 years (College years). There was huge corruption and wastage there too under YSR. The present crop of politicians are one and the same. They are all devils. Just because its a democrazy, they counterbalance each other. But they are all devils, all the same. There are only lesser ones and greater ones. Self-interest is paramount for them, and you cannot expect anything good out of them if there are no kickbacks.

I disagree with your statements on all netas being the same..

Yes I agree YSR was damn corrupt! He was the King of Populism! He won the elections(2004 & 2009) based on a freebie+populist platform, his free bijli for farmers promise led to long powercuts in the state for years.
He wasted so many money on freebies that there was little left for development & infrastructure.

But how did he get the money to splurge on all these freebies ?? ;) Because of Chandrababu Naidu.. :) & what he did for IT. It is because of him that 'Cyber'abad exists, thanks to him Hyderabad is among the top cities of India when it comes to IT exports

Not all netas are the same, there are same netas who are visionaries & know how to carry out development :)
But yes, there are some idiots who are socialists, idiots & jingoists(Siddaramaiah, KCR,Lalu etc) who have no interest in governance or don't know how to do it.. :(
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

P.S:- Can you tell more about your survey about the other welfare schemes? I am quite interested to know the level of wastage under the YSR regime regarding all those welfare schemes.
& Do you have any links related to your survey?

I would be very thankful to you if you shared that data :)

@uparyupari Yep boss, there have been no powercuts in Hyderabad this Summer(except the usual half an hour once in a while), KCR diverted more power to Hyderabad & the industries compared to the before year. Also the Centre too gave some help by providing a few 100MWs from a few power plants in the North

True, this summer there as no "scheduled" power cuts. Only unscheduled ones. I guess, people are so used to power cuts that they do not understand what uninterrupted power supply feels like.

Maybe one day you will understand what "uninterrupted power" is and why homes do not need Generators and UPS. :disagree:

My survey was part of a legal aid initiative by my college about 8 years back. Part of it was to boost awareness about various welfare schemes in villages. Sorry but it was long time back, I have no data currently.:( More than corruption, we found so much inefficiency and lack of planning. Of course, Aarogyashri has only just begun at that time. I have not been to Hyderabad for a long time actually.

Also about YSR and Chandrababu Naidu. Just Consider who was rewarded by voters, and who was punished by voters in this Democrazy. What lessons will Naidu have learnt from that?

Here's why they're up shit creek without a paddle:

> KCR splurges on a Rs 5 crore van, paid for by Telangana taxpayers.

> Splurges on 21 Toyota Fortuner vehicles for his top officers.

> The cost estimates prepared by the roads and buildings department to construct a new camp office-cum-residence for Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is estimated to cost a whopping Rs 26.15 crore.

> Also spent over Rs 2 crore to rectify vastu defects and renovation works. However, Mr Rao is apparently still not satisfied with the vastu of his camp office even after taking up several modifications. More crores to be spent to make it vastu compliant.

> The state cabinet a few days ago decided to build a new secretariat at the cost of Rs 150 crore as, according to the Chief Minister, the existing building does not comply with rules of 'vastu-shastra'.

And the list goes on.....and on.....Meanwhile, some more farmers in Telangana have committed suicide due to bankruptcy......

JAI KCR!! JAI JAI KCR! This is how we will build a Golden Telangana, by wasting money in the name of vaastu & abandoning buildings which were used by past CMs & even the superstitious NTR & vaastu conscious CBN.

@OrionHunter
I think you will like these links, Please go through them to have a better understanding of KCR-Telangana Gandhi :-
1)Vaastu expert made Telangana government adviser
He made a vaastu expert a govt. advisor. Read the article to have an idea of what this expert's powers are
2)Indian Political Corner | All Updates & Discussions. | Page 2074
Check my post on the page of this thread, the post is about the Mahatma of Telangana..
3)Indian Political Corner | All Updates & Discussions. | Page 2259
Check this too.
4)Telangana releases youth with IS links, IB unhappy
How secular of him  :smitten:

& here is one more reason why money has been wasted under KCR:-
Telangana in soup over staff salary hike demand
The cash-strapped Telangana government is in a spot with the employees demanding salary hike that would result in an additional burden of Rs 13,800 crore on the exchequer each year. The amount would work out to equivalent of the revenue earned in the current fiscal year.
He eventually gave in to their demands.

@Ragnar Thanks a lot for your input mate, :) . That;s one reason why AP & TG are suffering from financial problems right now, too much money was wasted on populist schemes & a lot was wasted on corruption+irregularities.
Can you give me any other statistics regarding the schemes? & can you tell me which districts you went to?

& yes Why did CBN lose?? That is a story for another day, but here is a short summary why:- Lack of attention on rural areas+lack of publicity of achievement+Gujarat riots(drove muslim votes away)+welfare & populist schemes of YSR+"insert reasons for ABV's defeat"

In other news, policeman in TG end up doing the job of municipality workers(currently on strike)

Only RR District mate. I was at Nalsar, and we covered the neighboring areas- Shamirpet, Medchal, Bolarum, various hospitals etc. like Gandhi Hospital. For Arogyashree, One thing we identified was the bad preparedness in government hospitals. The programme was also understaffed, there was just one guy in an empty office with one table. At that stage we did not fully understand it, it was only much later that reports emerged of nexus with private hospitals. Other teams dealt with various other welfare schemes like Jalayagnam. And also awareness of RTI Act 2005. Of course we were only undergrad students, not journalists, and we were unable to investigate everything.
