they have different roles in their respective airforce.....

well look it at this way

for IAF LCA is just a gap filler point defnce fighter with limmited strike capabillity (in short Plan C)

while for PAF JF-17 will be the bulk (for naval,air interception , strike, ground support, SEAD & DEAD+ a gap filler ... in short Plan A & B & C)

as LCA all its life will remain is shadows of big boys of IAF = MKI+M29 +M2k combo & Rafale -FGFA/PAKFA combo in future

I think it is unfair to compare two planes belonging to two different generations, this thread is an unholy attempt to embarrass our Pakistani brothers by pulling them into a debate, comparison, or whatever that they cannot win based on facts & figures. I condemn such repeated attempts to prove our undeniable superiority over and over again in this area, let our Pakistani brothers be happy with whatever they could manage within their shoestring budget.
