Tejas LSP-7 in first flight any time now

Dear this is not a country land this is cyber space  and I am not even sure if the server is based in you nation, irrespective to .pk extention  and regarding behaviour, dear, I am asked you to gtfo instead of trolling here  and if it is immatured and negativity, then God bless you

When i am not the first person to compare JF-17, why should i be punished? I only started of saying that LCA (2 seat) by its design and other factors doesnt seem to look like a fighter. You know what? God bless you because you took this as an offence...
I will get out of this forum when i want to. I am a senior member here. The name doesnt show it but i have been here since 2007. i have been watching all developments everyday every minute, every second. If i feel LCA hasn't impressed me than you shouldn't be barking at me with GTFO.

Ferry Range:

F-16B = 4200km
LCA (leaking cockpit aircraft) = 3000 km
JF-17 = 3000 km (IFR Probe is going to be added to 2 seater version or with CFTs)

Air frame: similar to BAE Hawk, L-15, T-50

ECM: You jamming pods, Self protection pods etc will do no good because RCS (Radar Cross Section is bigger than F-16B and JF-17 JF-17. Overall, its not super

Now when looking at 1 seat variant:

-JF-17 is optimized for high maneuverability at low-speed (thanks to LERX ) while LCA, with its delta wings is optimized for high speeds....which goes with their roles...the JF-17 being a multi-role fighter and the LCA is primarily suited as an interceptor.

-Even if you have jammers, they do not provide stealth... Thanks to JF-17's DSI, it will be better off than LCA...
why aren't Rafale and Typhoon considered "significantly stealthy" fighters? You don't seriously think India is the only country that can make a fighter with lots of composites, do you? All of Europe's and America's latest AIRLINERS (and high performance sports cars) are constructed using lots of composites. China's J-11B uses significant amount of composites too (weight is reduced by 700kg according to sinodefence), they don't claim it to be a stealthy fighter.

-You should also know that JF-17's high g high speed turning performance has been compared to that of F-16A, which is by far the most maneuverable of all F-16s (yes, even the latest F-16C Block 52 and F-16E block 60 - these two are in fact the least maneuverable due to weight increases that the original airframe was not designed to take).

1.) Ferry Range is same

2.) Airframe similar to t50 hawk and L15?
you need to consult an eye specialist as none of them is Delta wing and MTOW of Tejas is much better than all those mentioned. And no need to mention that Tejas use more composites than jf17
3.) Tejas is more stealthier than jf-17 ??????? Man Tejas is a way more stealthier than jf17
Being smaller than jf17 and DSI which u mentioned is used for making airflow better but it offers engine blade hiding along with it but Tejas' Intakes are inherently shield the engine according to their design. And Yes composites along with RAM reduce the RCS .
Rafale and EFT are not VLO aircrafts but they are LO aircraft as they use of composites and RAM
LCA airframe is built to withstand 9g whereas jf17 for 8g

At FireMaster:

OMG....
I'm not going to argue with you... Just wishing you and your engineers good luck on LCA...:coffee:

Next time Please don't compare Planes just by size of their cockpit displays:hitwall::hitwall:

before saying anything about the tejas plzz go through the timeline. it took merely 5 yrs to roll out the first prototype from start of development. quality anioncs development has taken more time.

1980s1983
DRDO obtained permission to initiate a programme to design and develop a Light Combat Aircraft
1984
Government of India set up Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) in 1984 as the nodal agency for managing and developing the LCA.
1985
IAF submits Air Staff Requirements (ASR) for LCA in October 1985. This was initiated by the then Air Chief Marshal Idris Hassan Latif.
1986
Government allocates 575 crores for the LCA programme.
Programme to develop an indigenous powerplant (engine) was launched at GTRE.
1987
Project definition commenced in October 1987 with French Dassault Aviation as consultants.
1988
Project definition completed in September 1988.
1989
Government review committee expresses confidence in LCA programme. It was decided that the programme will be carried out in two phases.
[edit] 1990s1990
Design of LCA was finalised as a small delta winged relaxed static stability aircraft.
Phase 1 of the development was commenced to create the proof of concept system. Financial problems within India prevented full scale operations from starting.
1993
Full funding started from April 1993 full-scale development work for phase 1 started in June.
1995
First technology demonstrator, TD-1, rolled out on 17 November 1995 and was followed by TD-2 in 1998. However, technical problems in flight control systems and structural deficiencies plagued the prototypes and they remained grounded.
1997
Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) for LCA design work started at HAL’s Hyderabad division and the LRDE.
[edit] 2000s2001
Development assistance sought from Snecma on the Kaveri engine.[1]
4 January - LCA’s maiden flight successfully completed by Technology Demonstrator TD-1, on 2001. Prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee renames LCA as Tejas.

Well I am nobody from the mod team but I expect this is not a Tejas vs FC-1 thread to answer either we are jealous or ego hurt, I do not expect you to make it a Tejas Vs FC-1 thread with all the flamings and trollings, to exhibit your ego and complexities,

1. It is not a Tejas Vs FC-1 d!*k measurement thread.
2. This thread is not suppose to explain about ego and complexities
3. Your statement trends to make this thread go to the direction of pt. 1. and 2.
4. Your comments are making this thread derailed.
5. Think yourself.
6. If not Gods and Mods bless you.
7. Enough is enough, no more entertainment from me.

I dont understand why u people are quarelling so much  JF-17 was developed to improve Aeronautical industry in Pakisthan to much larger extent wheras LCA Tejas was developed to get a strondhold in Indeginious Designs thats it....:)

. . . .
lets face it pakistan. an indian plane has made a flight with many many new improvements. development has happened in our country. its everyday thing for us to see new developments. for u guys its only 2-3 days a year that is when u test ur missiles are tested(they never fail). pllzz learn to digest that.

Developments have happened in every country?

India tests missiles everyday? :woot: India must be super rich.

Did you just say that Pak missiles never fail but Indian missiles do?

1. What?

2. You need to read slowly and learn the phrases and their meaning...

3. Yes, that is what he said... Please show us evidence that your missiles have failed :woot:

.
For our honourable members here who think that Mirage 2000 and Tejas look the same.

.
Can we stop replying to the miserable trolls and have some discussions about what all capabilities need to be tested yet ? or what sort of role it can play etc...

Plz no more explanation for differences between Mirage and LCA
