Tejas induction only by mid-2014

IAF is not satisfied with the LCA because they want improvements. They would have never considereg JF17 for the same reason.
But few people here talk as if JF17 is worlds most advance ac on par with 5th Generation AC's available.

Aby dhakan IAF can't reject LCA because its Indian, IAF has standards and they want to purchase capable aircraft but LCA is not capable it failed to pass IOC in other words standards set by IAF to induct them. Now wait another 4 years for its induction.

India’s ''pride,'' (shame) the light combat aircraft (LCA) Tejas, will only be inducted into the Indian Air Force (IAF) in mid-2014, as the aircraft, about which the IAF had expressed some dissatisfaction, is yet to get the second initial operational clearance (IOC-2) .

Answering queries from the media after inaugurating a conference here, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal N A K Browne said the IOC-2 is expected only by mid-2012 and the final operational clearance could be scheduled only two years after that. :rofl:

LCA MKII specs have been frozen now, it's capabilities hopefully will rival quite a few big names

IAF expresses dissatisfation coz it can afford too. It has lots of options for it. What about the PAF neither it has the money nor
it has potential sellers to sell aircrafts.

As far as IOC goes, it has already got IOC-1, will go through strenuous testing before IOC-2 and FOC and only when the IAF is satisfied will it induct it. We are not in a hurry like PAF to get jf 17. The result of that hurry is infront of all.

Atleast we didn't reject. Look at JF-17, even PLAAF reject it. You are proud of a reject material. How pity?

IOC,FOC AND TEST FLIGHTS AND TRIALS does't make sense to PAF

u just need to make a cheaper toy capable of flying........and give it to PAF.they will surely induct that without any delay.....
PAF had there own standards..........

that is why mmrca is being done. with the potential to buy upto 210 aircrafts. by 2015 when we start getting mmrca we will also
induct LCA and that was the 2017 timeline which the IAF set to remove mig 21.

Talking about crash records of 1000+ if you can tell me PAF's number of crashes considering their size.

We took whatever is not ur issue at all ......... Commentators at different show are appreciating this rejected , copied , failed or whtever plane , where planes like F15 , F16 , F18 , EF, were flying.................

Oh i just got to know they dont have the eyes to see the plane as failed ,and they dont have the brain to troll.
