As for are FC-1 is bad? China developed it for Pakistan as they want to make Pakistan with a minimum deterrence against more capable Indian fighters like Su 30 MKI and Rafales. If the planes were that good, they would have placed orders for their airforce too.

Many of their planes are outdated too, but they didnt choose FC-1. Understand the logic.

Well obviously, the JF-17 is the "Joint fighter" but what equity does Pakistan have in the actual parent project the FC-1? China designed, built and tested every single element of the FC-1 ON CHINESE SOIL then shipped it to Pakistan wherein it was re-painted and christened "JF-17" and for that you guys only have 58% equity?

It's not Shanghai airport, it says Chengdu on the location. How do you even know it's for MAF?

No. They need fighters in bulk too especially if JF 17 block 3 is what it is said to be. But they don't. Which country wont buy a plane which is low cost like JF-17. Think about that.

As for Fs and Migs, they are still expensive to maintain and old. Its better to buy something new as it lasts longer in service. Simple logic.
