What AESA will it have? You guys haven't even integrated HMD on it yet!

We are comparing the bars set by respective air forces. Tejas with better engine, better pay load, better range, better etc. (the list is long) is not able to clear IAF standards. Tejas MK1 on paper is better than JF BL2, but PAF induscted JF B1 decade ago!!!!

IAF requirements are different than that of PAF, hence the strict cutoffs.

Making compromise and inducting substandard products (like JF) is not sign of professional forces.

This is useless argument ,,, in a real war scnario what matters an ability to attack or payload ?

When Tejas is still in process of integration and testing of weapons JF17 has following key capabilities:

- Long range antiship missile
- Supersonic anti-ship missile firing capability
- BVR missile firing capability
- IFR probe
- Precision guided munition
- integration through command and control with Link 17 hence much enhanced situatiton awarness
- anti radiation missiles
- stand-off munitions

and the list goes on ... now compare what does Tejas has with current deployed squadron ... Thunder is evaluating along with Tejas so when your aircraft will get the above capabilities with FOC mode thunder will be fielding AESA, HDMS, Targeting pod, HOBS and PL15 which are in integration phase of blk 3 whereas our pilots will also be trained on the platform and it will be mature platform ...
