This was expected... Othewise it wont be called multi role..
Gosh what and all they are pushing from this small craft.. Kh-59 .. my god.. one day if they say we want Brahmos it is not going to be a surprise...

If MK-1 is pushed to this limit.. certainly MK-2 will be forced to carry brahmos ... MK-2 is going to be very interesting ... with more fuel and more payload.. it is going to rock...

Weapons lying useless in defence dockyards

India's pride- its defence forces have a reputation that precedes them, but it's unfortunate that they have been given the tedious task of guarding our borders unarmed and saddled with 'dud' weapons.

TIMES NOW has accessed an exclusive report which lists a number of weapons which our defence forces are riddled with. These weapons are junk which were procurred for millions of dollars, are now lying useless in defence dockyards.

Specifically, the Harpy missile procurred from Israel for a whopping 750 crores lies useless after it developed direction trouble.

The Popeye II missile costs 350 crores. An Air to surface missile never even passed the initial tests since the wings were faulty.

The Sea Eagle - a subsonic anti-ship missile which cost close to a 120 crores is no longer usable as the components are not available and anti-radiation missiles some of which were procurred from Russia have malfunctional seekers parts used to seek out the target.

Indigenously, developed missiles are also on the list of non-performers.

SITAPHAL - the clusterbomb is not in use since key components became unavailable.


And the 450 kg High speed low drag bomb whose mismatch in components has put back in the closet.
