Teeth Implant Cost in Turkey

Hello

Recently my sister discovered that she was suffering from Vitamin D deficiency and her GP informed her that she will lose some of her teeth in couple of months. To her surprise her dentist removed about 16 teeth from her mouth since last 2 months and recommended teeth implant

Now she is looking for teeth implant in UK but upon hearing the cost associated in UK, she is also considering to visit nearby countries such as Turkey in order to carry out similar procedure.

She is not interested to visit Pakistan as I know we can get the teeth fixed from there for less than £1000 but she is also looking for reliability, safety and a standard similar to the one provided in UK. Turkey is an ideal option where we believe similar procedure is carried out by a fraction of cost compared to UK.

If anybody have reliable contact in Turkey or know a good dentist please do provide details about it. I am also interested to know the cost associated with it. I think she will prefer to go for Titanium implant alongside good quality crowning which lasts for sometime if not forever. The most important is the hygiene factor alongside cost so that she is not infected

Thank you
My uncle had nearly all his teeth for around 14,000 euros, he came from Germany and that included flight and pickup from airport and hotel, if I remember correctly it was hospitadent which is quite famous too. Check out there website. He's one was titanium implants too I think.

I think the total cost should be less than that. Depends where you go but the average cost for her dental implant I am getting from websites is between £4000 to £6000. The amount will obviously be higher in Euros... but the point is I want reliability with cost. If he managed to get nearly all his teeth fixed for €14000 it means around €7000 for half mouth but I am sure it can be done cheaper than that

only problem will be the visa. Too much hassle to come to India for Pakistanis... The treatment will be similar to Pakistan so my sister will rule it out. If it was for me I wouldn't mind travelling to Pakistan or India but my sister prefer UK like treatment which is only possible in developed or near developed countries like Turkey

Well sometime I think with this excuse I might be able to visit India and see Taj Mahal and Delhi wali Jamia Masjid... but then my sister is not interested in visiting India. According to her she can always have similar treatment from Pakistan with abundance of help from her family and friends.

Turkey is the best option or any other European or North African country

Yes but need to be careful. Sister in law went there and got flesh eating infection. She is lucky to be alive; spent 7 months in johannesburg. No antibiotics would work except one.

my grandmother spent 2 lakh PKR to get here top and bottom veneers done in Pakistan about 7 years ago and she says thats best decision shes ever made.

Dentists and cosmetic surgery and hair transplant in Pakistan is an absolutely huge business especially in the rich and elite class, you will find world class cosmetic surgeon clinic dotted all over posh areas of lahore.

even myself im considering getting a hair transplant done in Lahore.

Being a UK national does not equate to free dental treatment, especially when we belong to working/tax payers category.
I know buddy ,I was mentioning the nationality thing because it's pretty easy for a UK national to get a indian medical/tourist visa,

.
Don't go to Pakistan or India for dental work you will catch a disease for sure.

Hungary is cheap for implants. Google it.

Turkey full of butchers do so at your own risk.

Look up dentart. I use them in London and have been excellent for normal dental stuff. They have a price list for hungary on their site too.

Unless you are dual national. Being a British Pakistani means Indian embassy asks you to apply Indian visa on your Pakistani passport.

Regardless of that, she is not gonnai be visiting India for dental implant...

My brother had them done about 4 years ago by a Indian dentist in UK who is based in Liverpool area. It cost £24,000 but the quality of work was exceptional and he has had no issues. Just as note this procedure is traumatic and when I saw my brother a day after the op he looked like Frankenstien and was in pain for over a week.

The op itself was hell and stretched over 8 hours. The dentist and his team had to take breaks as it was physically exhausting. My brother told me if he knew about what lay ahead of him he would never have done it. Once the 'construction' began and there is no other word for it as the procedure entails first laying 'piles' into the gum/jawbone as the foundation. These are titanium spigots that are drilled through the gum down into the underlying jawbone. And this takes quite a few spigots. He said it was like his brain was being drilled into and he could smell the heat and fumes from the drilling.

So frankly anybody wanting to do this better really think about whether they want to go through purgatory. Then there is the safety issue. Frankly I would not even dream of going near Pakistan or India. It is not like our people are not capable - the dentisat who did my brother was a Indian from Mumbai but more to do with the regulatory mechanisms in place in UK that protect the patient.

I would think of Turkey as a alternative as it offers good deals in price but I think it would be best to stick to UK. This is a dangerous procedure and having NHS around the block is reassurance that if things go wrong you will get treatment promptly. If you can't afford UK then I would suggest you don't bother. This is not some cosmetic proceure but is invasive and has potential for things going wrong badly.

I would suggest you talk to somebody who has been through this procedure. Then decide if you really want to go ahead. My brother was 44 when he got it done and was driven to it by the prospect of marriage. He wanted bright, perfect gnashers to go with his wedding suit.

I did not say it to him but I thought "Zia you should have really laid off the custard creams and instead of waxing/polishing your car spent more time on brushing/mouthwashing your teath".

But that is life !

Ps. I can forward you the details of this dentist in Liverpool if you want to.
