LAHORE: The main opposition party in the Punjab Assembly, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has filed an adjournment motion in the assembly secretariat against the rape of a teenage girl by an influential landlord in Sargodha. The adjournment motion was submitted by PTI member Sadia Sohail on Tuesday in which she requested the government to take notice of this “monstrous crime” by the influential landlord. She said that the perpetrator should be arrested and punished. The MPA said in her motion that the influential landlord of Sargodha Chak-75 North, Muhammad Hayyat, had been raping a 13-year-old girl, Razia, for the last seven years. The MPA in the adjournment motion said that father of the victim Mumtaz is addicted to drugs so he had sold his daughter to the said landlord at the age of 13, adding that Hayyat made a fake marriage certificate and kept her with him for a long time. During this period, the girl gave birth to four children of the landlord, the motion stated. The motion further mentioned that when the marriage certificate was exposed as fake, the landlord broke the arms and legs of the said girl by brutal torture and she had been locked up in his house for the last two days. The PTI MPA also said in the motion that due to influence of the landlord, not even a single person dared to take the girl to the hospital for medical treatment and now the people of the village were demanding from the government that the landlord be arrested and punished as per law. staff report

"Islam does not prohibit slavery but retains it for two reasons. The first reason is war (whether it is a civil war or a foreign war in which the captive is either killed or enslaved) provided that the war is not between Muslims against each other - it is not acceptable to enslave the violators, or the offenders, if they are Muslims. Only non-Muslim captives may be enslaved or killed. The second reason is the sexual propagation of slaves which would generate more slaves for their owner."

I think many islamic sects regard the rest as kafir and it is allowed to do jihad on them and enslave their women.

The Quran in Sura 23:5-6 says:

5 [Most certainly true believers] . . . guard their private parts scrupulously, 6 except with regard to their wives and those who are legally in their possession, for in that case they shall not be blameworthy. (Sayyid Abul A’La Maududi, The Meaning of the Quran, vol. 3, p. 237)

The key words are "those who are legally in their possession." Maududi (d. 1979) is a highly respected commentator on the Quran, and he interprets the plain meaning of the clause, saying that sex with slave-girls is lawful.

Question is that once Pakistan falls to Taliban rule will kafir women (shia,Ahmedi,Hindu ) be made sex slaves?

Allah in the Quran and Hadith says that Slavery is permitted.Then why this ruckus?Pakistan is a pure islamic state.
