Teenage girls arrested after Muslim couple 'racially abused' on Manchester tram - Crime - UK - The Independent


Four teenage girls have been arrested after a video was posted online appearing to show a Muslim couple being verbally abused on a tram in Manchester.

The man and woman were with their baby when they were racially abused by a group of passengers on the Metrolink, Greater Manchester Police said.

The incident happened as the service travelled between Shaw and the city centre at around 3.30pm on Friday.

Footage of the altercation was viewed more than a million times after being posted on Facebook.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Following enquiries by officers, four girls aged between 16 and 18 have been arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.

“Further enquiries are ongoing in an effort to identify and arrest the other offenders.”

The incident happened on a tram travelling into Manchester on FridayAnyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Every religion, race and nationality would be found in the streets of New York, Paris etc. How many countries can boast of that? First thing is first, Australia has a problem with non white people not majority of people but heck from what i know its pretty down south over there if you are trying to convince me that Australia is cool with non whites you can go have a party and call it V day.

These problems have been around since the 60's here in Britain, the new spin on things are a direct result of the multiple horrendous, murderous and boneheaded interventions in the Middle East, from 2001 on-going.
