Technocrat govt can't resolve Pakistan's issues: PM Abbasi

Oh well, do you expect anything rational and logical from a group of people who label a certain Thanvi who wrote in the Behashti Zewar (Heavenly Jewellery) that girls should only be taught to read and write, if they are stupid and not bright, as Hakeem-ul-Ummat (the Physician of the Ummat)? Its understandable why we are on artificial life support if we consider such backward, misogynist, sexist as our physician.

Speak for yourself. Most of us have enough sense to not follow blindly.

.
Its not about them being the "messiah". I have just said that they ran Pakistan better than the Pakistanis. Of course, they looted the country and furthered their own interests, but still after all that, there was a visible Govt more responsible and committed than anything we have seen since the Quaid-e-Azam died and Liaquat Ali Khan got shot.

We have had seventy years to prove ourselves capable and worthy and yet we have failed. So its either do it ourselves or let others take charge.
You are contradicting yourself here. You said :"they ran Pakistan better than the Pakistanis" then you say: "there was a visible Govt more responsible and committed than anything we have seen since the Quaid-e-Azam died and Liaquat Ali Khan got shot."

When QA & LAK did get a chance, they proved their mettle. So the myth of the gora, being a better ruler, just died.

.
Lol what has thanvi to do with British infrastructure?

The state doesn't recommend these books.

The very mullah who supported the Brits in 1857 still rule the intellectual minds of the British subjects.

Lol what a cheap shot dude.....

I admire your concerns for Pakistani people

Lost me, suddenly?

The British infrastructure still standing depicts the sad state of our affairs when our built things keep failing regularly. I was answering your "nobody ran things better than the other". The Thanvi having been awarded the "Physician of the Ummah" title is a commentary on the non existent critical thinking skills of our people, their lack of concern for themselves and the pathetic description of hero in our culture, all since time immemorial. It is far from a cheap shot and an accurate example of how we think. And as such, how we behave. And as such, how we are today.

Speak for yourself. Most of us have enough sense to not follow blindly.

I doubt that you were in this country, when the Taliban menace was at its strongest ('07-'12). You wouldn't have written such inaccurate feel-good post, if you were here, during that time. We saw the writ of the state being challenged openly on the streets of Islamabad, the blatant disregard for the laws of the country and the public outrage after the terrorists were taken care of, with extreme leniency if I may add. We saw when Pakistanis cheered loudly and madly for the bearded Mullahs and their trained killers, all whilst getting killed by them. Who's this most of us again?

The connection between corrupt politicians, mis-governances, Surrey Place, non-existent steel mills, Mayor Wasim Akhtar taking orders from a toad, are all the result of Behashti Zewar, and Maulana Thanvi! But you being an evil and corrupt person can't see this! Shame on you!

Make it "better than the overwhelming majority of the Pakistani rulers" then. Unfortunately, since I am human. I am more than capable of making mistakes. What happened after them, then? This region is one of the most densely populated in the world, you aren't exactly telling me that two people were the best we could/can muster. And unfortunately, even they died a long time ago.

Reminding people that, only noora and company are their saviors.

More often than not, simply dictating their verdict to the people regarding things which they know the general public isn't exactly capable of understanding. Widespread and deep ignorance is required for such rulers, to function and they understand that well.

Read it slowly. And aim not only to increase your post count but to understand things as well.

Both the left and the right are simply the tools to divide and rule the people.

You have me lost when you flip a coin with only one side.

Both play the masses into confusion.

Neither Zia nor Zulfiqar represented the people. The dark masters sit cosy no matter whose in charge. The law both the mullah and the nudist devised protects the rich and the powerful.

I don't need discussing religion which has nothing to do with the matter at hand. Corruption.

.
With these words, This man is anti corruption.

Muslim nations have suffered a lot from these mofos called Technocrats. All of elites in Islamic countries belong to the same party as it seems. Our Technocrats are the same.

Kudos Pm Abbasi.

.
And knowing and understanding the reality on ground, we shouldn't exactly be optimistic and hopeful. This is the way things have been run and this is the way things will be run in the future. So long, my dear countrymen.

LOL. When I say that, people get a tad upset. :D

And none of these four things have changed since then. They still apply now and in the near future.

If you are incapable of recognizing people like Gen.Ayub or Dr.Atta ur Rehman's contribituiion, than you have my heart felt sympathies. BECAUSE anything more than that, and you will just delete my posts, as you have been doing in the past.

I am not attempting to discuss religion, whats with you today? Just commenting on the "cognitive ability" and "critical thinking skills" of our people, saying if they can't see the obvious wrongs by themselves and instead consider such people as their hero and savior. Its not exactly strange that they find themselves in this condition. They simply don't know any better. They prefer the status "quo" like you said and persistently demonstrate an inability to change or even to adapt to it, even if comes from somewhere. That is all, I am saying.

.
And none of these four things have changed since then. They still apply now and in the near future.

So in other words

Pakistan should do more against terrorism?

Lol buddy if you kill each and every bearded person in Pakistan. Each and everyone who says he is Muslim and wants to live Islamic way of life as the time needs.

Even then these four things will remain.

No prime minister of Pakistan had a beard. No army chief.

You have got it so wrong.

But I like the idea. An advice soon to get famous in kalams country.

Amateurs lol

.
LOL. When I say that, people get a tad upset. :D

For many people, as long as Pakistan exists, its all fine and dandy. Its a logic which eludes me day and night, despite the fact that I have tried to understand it many times. It simply doesn't make sense. How long would everyone remain in survival mode?

.
Why did the PM even make this statement? Unless there are some actually pushing for a technocrat government - so much so that PM was forced to a dress the issue.

The last technocratic government we had was under Musharraf's early days and if I'm not mistaken they performed quite well.
