Well..... there goes the education down the drain. But then again, if those teachers had been smart they would have obtained pakistani citizenship. Pakistan wouldn't have thrown their own citizens to the wolf... or would they ?

All teachers are fired and recalled because RTE is in the process of persecuting everything. The actions of a scared man.

I dislike him and I dislike gulen. Education is the most important thing there is, and the freedom to think for yourself.

If Gulen is enemy of Turkey he is my enemy too but educationists need to be treated separately they may have been there for a just honorable job to earn their bread and butter.

Our PM mentioning this to Erdogan..................... yeah sure, it will remain my wish................... he (our PM) doesn't worry about anything that doesn't affect him or his family.

For example, in the US those young teachers, often eager to get a job, get US working visa through Gulen's schools. The moment they question or act not in line with those Gulen schools' policies, their visa simply will be revoked and send back home. Then there are teachers that are outright blind Gulen followers to start with. Showing sympathy is not the time now, no matter if they are teachers, doctors, imams, volunteer workers or whatever. If they actively served Gulen's interests, they will have to accept their crimes.

I'm sure the Pakistani govt and Turkish govt will find a solution to continue such services, but then maybe the Turkish state will need to take over those schools as they are Gulen organization's property.

If they have committed any wrong they should be judged in accordance with Turkey's prevailing laws. I hope no innocent would feel insecure. And now I realise it's better that they go to their home country and get their names cleared.

Short answer: Gulen is attempting to build his own imperium since the 70's or so through using religion and becoming a cult of personality for his followers.
