TCM: Interview of Ehsanullah Ehsan, A Former Spokesperson of TTP

It reminds me of Usman Saifullah Kurd of LeJ escaping heavily guarded Quetta Cantonment Jail back in old days. Later was killed when no longer needed.
@Irfan Baloch You'd be remembering him Sir.
i missed him death.
that taqfiri scumbag used to boast that ISI protected him and police couldn't touch him.
there was no institutional support but some traitors within ISI did see him as great protector of Islam.

scumbags like these have leaked information about our spies and raids that resulted in loss of our officers and soldiers.

I would be more concerned about those u call traitors within ISI.
On topic, its unbelievable that he escaped along with family out of Pakistan. Most probably he was an under cover agent all along and was let go. If he was an under cover and provided cruicial intelligence then he deserves to be free.

He is talking about Usman Saifullah Kurd. Most PDFers don't know deeper about Balochistan and the past 15 years of internal conflict except some BLA news of martyring soldiers.

Regarding the traitors within ISI, he means some officers with Takfiri ideology who leaked information of spies and informers to these Khawarij. Ofc, ISI is not a one man organization. It did contain officers who were TTP or AL Qaeda sympathisers. If Gen Ramday or Brig Rizwan can corrupt to foreigners. Why can't ISI contain pro-takfiri officers when the state wasn't much aware of such situation.

Even today you'd get such retired officers sympathizing such men. I can't even see strategic reasons behind supporting him but they'd tell you that they'd support for religious reasons. He was used very well and killed when he began spread his wings. Same went for Malik Ishaq, Akram Lahori etc.

Regarding Ehsan being an undercover or whatever agent.

Things don't work like this. He wasn't any undercover agent since he was never a part of ISI or trained by them. This man was a radical born in SW, fought the Soviets while young like every tribal did, he was under Mullah Mehsud's faction of Mujahideen. Fought the Americans in Afgh and later joined TTP. Majority of TTP officials are former Afgh Taliban fighters, and Soviet War vets.

Ehsanullah just agreed to be an informant for the ISI. That doesn't justify anything.

Some times things are not like that as they look like.

Everything can not be explained publically.
